Hi! I started Phentermine today after seeing my hubby have great success with it. My doctor is on board and I hope to lose about 100 pounds so that I can have a healthy pregnancy. So far no big side effects and I was not hungry all day! YAY!!

I just started a 1 week ago Monday on Phentermine and I've lost maybe 4 lbs. I hope I can stay on it. Did your husband ever have any side effects? How did you get the butterfly?

Hi :)

My hubby had some sleeplessness and itching, but overall was fine on Phen. I am experiencing both of those already but I think I am going to move my afternoon dose up an hour to help the sleeplessness.

The butterfly (displayed avatar) was an option in the profile section of the personal account admin page.

Congrats on the quick start!

I tried Phentermine 2 years ago but for the wrong reason: for my wedding day. I did great on it! I almost forgot to eat sometimes but I exercised as well. Now I'm going through the process of starting all over in a new state trying to find a doctor that will prescribe it for me. Online seems like a nightmare... and perhaps I won't get the correct product. I think it's a great solution for those that are always hungry!

I have been on Phentermine for less than a month and found I had to force myself to eat somedays, Which sounds great right however dont forget about that starvation point at which your body says "wait a minute" where are that bag of chips and 3 candy bars????? Now have started to work out and HATE IT. I have a concern about the medicine and want to hear if other have heard the same so please let me know, my doctor told me after a couple of months your body gets used to the medication and will not work any longer. I am so scared of that time, which is why I want to lose to much so much now because the pills will stop working. Let me know if anyone has heard the same or if it did what did you do to keep losing. thanks

I have heard that, and (under the watchful care of a weight loss specialist) I am taking Lexapro to counteract that effect.  There have been recent studies that show Lexapro to be safe with Phen (there is tons of old scary info on web), but you need to be watched by a doc.

In order not to get constipated you have to drink ALOT of water. Make sure you try to get a little bit more fiber in your meals as well. Your stool still may not be soft, formed, and S shaped like it's supposed to, but atleast you'll be able to go!

I am sure this question has been asked , but I am new on here and not sure where I can find a question and answer search. But I would like to know how long does the phentermine stay in the blood. I don't want it showing up in blood tests. Thanks

BeverlyJo, I am very suspicious of drugs sold over the internet. My dr. wrote me a script for phen. since my blood pressure was okay, he was happy to do it !
