Anyone else want to tell how we're doing this year?  I restarted my efforts in January -- eating healthy and walking and working out a lot -- usually 1.25-1.5 hours a day or more.  So here's January's results for me.  Hope to hear from others.

Week of January 4-10: 246.8
Week of January 11-17: 243.8
Week of January 18-24: 242
Week of January 25-31: 238.9
Total loss: -11.1

I'm very pleased with my first month of 2009!  :)

Well they have these great challenges at the Lose 100 Pounds support group -- check it out and join in over there if you like.  Their next challenge runs through May, but I'm sure they'll have another!

I just thought I'd share my monthly stats here as I go along.

Here's March/April -- I had a mini-goal of losing 30 pounds by April 12th -- I'm at 29.92 pounds gone as of this morning, so I fell short by just 0.8 pounds, which in my book is close enough to say I made it!  LOL

Weight as of March 1st: 
229.68 (104.4 kilos)
March 1 - 7:  228.36 (103.8 kilos)
March 8 - 14:  226.6 (103 kilos)
March 15 - 21:  225.28 (102.4 kilos)
March 22 - 28:  225.72 (102.6 kilos)
March 29 - April 4:  223.52 (101.6 kilos)
April 5 - 11:  222.2 (101 kilos)

Total Weight Loss from 1st March to April 11th is 7.48 pounds (3.4 kilos)
Total Weight Loss since start of the year is 29.92 pounds (13.6 kilos)

Here's April 12 to May 30.  My next goal is to be below 200 pounds by 25th July, so that means I need to lose about 2.02 pounds per week to reach my next goal.

Is anyone else going to join me and post some goals here?  This list has been so quiet!!

How's everyone doing? Come and post your progress reports for January if you'd like -- I've just updated mine with an 11.1 pound loss for January. WOO HOO!!!

I hear ya -- though losing weight has not been automatic since going vegan, I would still never go back to consuming carcasses.
