I have to admit. I love Jenny Craig! I have been on it since November 2005 and I have lost 80 lbs! I am happy to answer and chat about anything JC!

I hope they come out with some new dinners soon! The mesquite chicken is pretty good, but I really did like the salmon.

I was on Jenny Craig a few years ago and I hated the fish and chips. Now I cannot get enough of it. I order it twice a week! I too wish they would come out with some new stuff. Sometimes it gets boring eating the same things all the time. I was really suprised at the Mesquite Chicken. You can't beat chicken and potatoes!
I like Jenny Craig a lot. When your meals are planned out you have no real reason to stray from the plan. When my co-workers want to go out to lunch, I look at my lunch that is already payed for and say no thanks - not worth the extra money or the calories.
Plus my consultant rocks. I really like her and do not feel pressured at all.

Compulsive

I keep thinking about trying Jenny Craig but am worried about the cost. Also, I am compulsive at most everything so the discipline of meals scares me. Sometime I think if I got disciplined at eating, other things would follow suit? If anyone would like to share about the cost and other good things, advice, I would appreciate it.

I think my consultant is fantastic also. I find the JC dinners are MUCH better than the stuff I find low-calorie frozen at the grocery store.
Jenny Craig does cost a lot, especially at first. But, I joined with "jenny rewards" and now my food is 30% off and that's it. I cannot say that at this time it costs alot. As a matter a fact, it's kind of a steal at this point. But, not in the beginning.

Hey, I just "rejoined" Jenny Craig this week. I had been ona several month hiatus due to living at a location no where near a center. I found that I loose a lot of weight on the program, however my toughest obstacle is my own family because they like to invite me to bbq's and out to eat, especially at dinner.

I love the breakfasts and the lunches, but I've yet to find a dinner I can get excited about and feel satisfied after eating, are there any tips to psychologically motivate me to enjoy them more?

I think the key to feeling satisfied with the dinners offered is volumizing. For example, when I have the fettucine I also have a huge bowl of steamed broccoli. I spray the broccoli with I Can't Believe It's Not Butter spray, and then pour the chicken fettucine on top of the broccoli. When I have Mac and cheese I steam a bunch of green beans to go with it. I usually have a bunch of roasted cauliflower with the meatloaf. Just pick a veggie you love and eat a lot of it!

Andrea! You are SO RIGHT! You got it! If it weren't for volumizing I would not have made it, plus it made try veggies I would have never eaten! Lots of fiber!!

Hi everyone. I just joined J.C. I decided to start my diet again today.I weighed 243 pounds last September and I managed to become 203 pounds before xmas. I find in your comments all the support I need to lose the rest of my excess weight. Thank you!!!

Hi, I am getting back on track with JC after losing 47 pounds, and gaining back almost 37. Rather than frustrate myself, I'm just going to focus on moving forward and not looking back. Good health is what is important and giving up is not an option.
