Simple as this, I have tried so many things to lose this disgusting weight that I've gained over the last 3-4 years. I've tried dieting and exercising with friends (who never seem to motivate me at all), and I've tried other online support groups (where I ended receiving no support at all). I just need HELP!

I hate being at the weight I am.

You need to know the reasons you want to lose weight.  That's needs to be more important to you than the food.  You also need to know how you need your friends to support you, so you can tell them what you need.
 
In person support groups might be a good idea for you to get some in your face support as well.

Your motivation has to come from within. It's nice if you have people to support you, but the truth is, your quest to lose weight is not going to be important to anyone but you. Are you on some kind of formal weight loss program? There isn't any magic to it all. You just commit to a program, formal or your own, and decide you are going to do it no matter what.

I chose the Jenny Craig program years ago, and got lots of one-on-one support for my efforts, but it was only one of many crucial factors that led to my losses and long term maintenance. Goal and maintenance have to be so important to you that you are willing to do everything it takes to change your lifestyle enough to support it.

The important thing is, you can do this! One step at a time, one success at a time.

I'm new here! I want to loose weight. People say I'm not fat, but for me I'm bigger than I should be. Hope to find friends here that can help me keep motivated. I want to be more confident in myself, and I thought loosing weight would help me.

Hit a plateau it seems in my weight loss. I normally walk on the treadmill and am starting interval training to walk my first 5K soon. Any suggestions on ramping things up a bit?
