 I am new to clean eating. I have been having a hard time losing weight since January--right now I weigh 199. I have the mindset of a healthy and fit person trapped inside a fat body. I want to be muscular (thick muscular legs, muscular back, tight round booty) but right now, I'm stuck. I need help. I don't know how many calories I am supposed to be taking in, how many to burn off, and how to do all of this at the same time. Anyone out there able to help me? I want to be a healthy clean eater, but I need more help than what is offered in Oxygen. Please help!!!

Hey Mel.  First of all, if you are truly following Clean Eating, you don't count calories.  That being said, I am a calorie counter.  LOL!  Do you have any of Tosca Reno's books?  I would suggest purchasing her Eat Clean Diet book.  Then maybe the cookbooks that she has.

Like TatumsMom said, if you are following Tosca's "diet" then there is absolutely NO reason to count calories. That said I think that's one of the main reasons I am choosing to go this route this time. I'M SO TIRED OF COUNTING CALORIES! LOL
 
I bought her Eat Clean Recharged, her Cookbook and also the family and kids cookbook as I have 3 small children and a husband to sway into proper eating and nutrition as well this time around. I started out at 191 and I am not looking to get into my ideal weight of the 120's because it'll just never happen. I pack muscle when I workout and I LOVE weights so I'm aiming for a 145 and I'll be good there. I got down to 156 for my wedding from about 190 between Feb 08-Aug 08 and I WILL do it again! :)

I am wanting to lose weight but without all the gimmiks. Clean eating helps me keep a healthy attitude about food. Although I haven't been clean eating for very long I love it. I love the magaazine too!
