WHERE TO START?!?!?

We dont' even have a date set! But I'd still like to start planning something- what have you all been planning?

We don't have a date set either - but we're shooting for September 2008. It's so far away that I don't think we need a definite date yet, plus the vendue we're trying to get doesn't usually do weddings so they're very slow to confirm whether they'll do it or not!

Our date is april 6th 08, so far we have the place the ceremony and reception will be at, the caterer, my dress is already bought and will be here next month, (luckily if i reach my goal my aunt is able to do the alterations so i dont run the bill up with that), have the bridesmaid dresses already picked out & our wedding party picked, our cake is decided on (caterer includes it in their cost), photographer, and my aunt paid for the honeymoon as a wedding gift.

I like getting things planned early, im also planning on starting a second job hopefully soon. to help save for the wedding and after that take care of medical bills and get a start on my student loan. So i probably wont have a lot of time later.

We don't have a date yet either. But I have most of it planned out except for our venue. Still working on that. Thinking country club/ golf course or a nice hotel. I am one of those people who waits til the last min so I know that it will be a rushed.

My date is late August 2008...trying to decide on a Bridal House. See, we are getting married on the beach in Outerbanks North Carolina (even though we live in Kansas) hahaha! I've vacationed there before and looooved it! So as soon as we decided on our house then we can book it and rent some houses for the rest of the guest! I"m excited for a Beach Wedding and for spending a whole week with both of our loved ones! Its hard because I'm orginally from Chicago so all my family is in Illinois and all his family is here in Kansas. So it will be a joyous blessing to have everyone in one place together! Now if only I can stay strong and get to my wedding dress weight! hahahaha

our date is the 8/8/08. our wedding is the one thing i'm fairly organised with. we have the venue, a lovely old english country house, i have my dress sorted, flowers, photos, disco, food, drinks, honeymoon, i have desgined my stationary, i just need to get my bridesmaid dress sorted, and the mens suits.
its all been fairly quick and easy to sort outr, so dont worry about it too much!

We have not set a date yet, but we know it will be atleast another three years. We agree that I need to finish my graduate degree and live together for a little while before we make that big step. All the same, I am still looking at dress and places to have the wedding, and of course thinking about getting into that perfect dress.

I picked my date a year prior to the wedding (which is Sept 27/08)...as far as planning i have nothing to do between now and march cause everything is done...I also already got my wedding bands etc....LOTS done...very excited!

We've got a wedding date picked (7/4/09) and he wanted to do it on the beach and have everyone relaxed & comfy..other than that, it was up to me...so I bought a ton of magazines and ripped out pics that I liked.  We hired a planner cause I don't want to have to handle anything that day and we are both new to the area so we don't know any good bakeries or anything...flowers will be simple cream carnations (my fav).  Some of them will be airbrushed with the blue color that everything is built around.  The bridesmaids are all picking out their own dresses so they can actually like what they're wearing, as long as its blue..I told them to think of blues in the ocean. It will be held on the beach outside the Sheraton Hotel in Atlantic Beach, NC and the reception will be inside.  We will have rented collums set up to give everyone a focal point for the ceremony.  We are doing a sand ceremony instead of the unity candle so that all 3 kids can take part in the wedding, making us a new family.  Blues & cream table linens.  All very simple & fun, this is going to be a casual wedding.  We're getting married at 11 AM and probably will have a brunch reception.  The one thing we are thinking about doing is having a couple of ice cream cakes made instead of a traditional wedding cake...he really isn't into cake and most of our fam & friends prefer ice cream cake too...then we are leaving the kids with their grandparents and having a car drive us to a hotel in Charlotte.  We will fly out from Charlotte the next AM on our way to Vegas for our honeymoon.

So...that's what I've got planned LOL...any tips/ideas/suggestions???

Hi! I'm 23 years old. i'm getting married 14/05/2011 and would like to *still* fit in my dress when the time comes - I would love to lose some weight and tone my body so i can look my best! Help support me, as I have a tendency to give things up easily!
