Anyone else have this problem? I find myself on the scale every morning to see if anything has changed. It gets me discouraged because I can fluctuate so much. I need to just pick a day and do my weigh in then.

Oh, I do the same thing!! I didn't even realize I was so bad until my 3 yo started mimicing me. Appearently, I do it before my shower everyday because my little girl thinks you HAVE to step on the scale to get into the shower! I can't stop either...and I completely agree with you, it can be so discouraging! I "officially" have chosen wenesday as me weigh-in day, but I confess, I cannot stop my morning peek!!

Ok Mondays are good for me. I will admit that I weighed again this morning. Ugh. I just have to stop it. Today is going to be a resting day for me. My body is aching. I will get my exercise by taking the kids trick or treating and letting my husband stay home and hand out candy with the baby.

Formymarine - I can't stop either. What is wrong with us?

You know what, last time I dieted with my husband, I weighed in on Friday's. I don't know if it really matters which day, but that way, I felt I knew how to approach the weekend....which is always more challenging in my opinon. I don't know why I picked wednesday this time. I had watched Biggest Loser tuesday night and decided to sign up to extrapounds again the next day, so it just became wednesday.

Man, it was definatly easier when we were both dieting together though. He's ultra supportive and healthier by nature, so that helps, but just knowing that we were actually "dieting" together made a difference, you know? I think I'm secretly trying to impress him by losing weight on my own, but being home alone all day from 5am - 7pm with two little ones and so many tempations and distractions is NOT easy. I hate to sound like a weenie, but I feel like I can here. This is my weenie corner. Vent it all out here so I can tackle it all out there.

Here's to a big weight loss week girls.
Stay away from the Halloween candy!!!

I am guilty too! I can't stop myself. I really need to try and just do it once per week.

You can join us on Mondays for a weigh in if you want. Tela is out of town this week so she won't be participating but I will be. I peeked this morning. I know I am bad. But it had been 3 days since I looked. That is GOOD for me. I hope to see a lower number tomorrow. I did my 20 mile bike ride today. I really wanted to give up about half way through and call Dh and tell him to come pick me up but I did it. I am really exhausted and I know I will be sore tomorrow but it is worth it.

Way to go with the bike ride!

I did 30 min walk/run on the treadmill this morning, after a night of the baby being up like 8000 times. I was so tempted to skip it but I pushed myself! *yawn* It better pay off.

Ok I have been really good this week about not weighing. I am holding out until tomorrow. I really hope to see a loss. AF is finally almost gone and perhaps maybe she took some of this water weight with her. I am eating fewer calories and have changed up my exercise some.

trueyou

If you have a husband/boyfriend tell him to take . the scale to work with him; especially if he works until almost morning time. Like mine does. He'll get home at midnight maybe 1 or 2. And I tell him to keep it in his car and give it back to me by Friday. The first week, he put it in his locker at work.
I was obsessed with the scale too but I found that this works better for me; out of site, out of mind.

I gained ten pounds since my second child and I can't seem to lose it no matter how I try to improve my diet. I just started exercising again so I hope I see a difference soon.

I have five more weeks to go and then I will be heading this way! I'm not breastfeeding, so I'm hoping that will let me get on track faster. I originally lost 83 lbs. with Jenny Craig and I'm going back!
