About how many calories are you consuming each day?

My son is 8 months and is BF still every 2 hours or so during the day and once in the middle of the night. I feel hungry after he eats, but not quite so ravenous as I used to for the first few months after he was born. I feel like I eat constantly but really really try to make smart choices and keep my calories in check. The scale just doesn't want to move unless I literally go hungry for days on end, and I just can't live like that. What do I do?

I also walk about 2 miles 5 days a week and get in an aerobic & weights work out when I can.

If I am not wrong, you should be cosuming 500cal more when you are breastfeeding. So lets say you should consume 1200cal for normal time, then 1700 for breastfeeding which is less than 2500 cal (I read somewhere that this is what nursing women needs). I dont think you should stay hungry while nursing btw. Eating lots of vegetables not to stay hungry and consuming enough protein (for the quality of your milk, 1 portion for each meal) might probably do the trick.
Hope this helps. Good luck!

I gained ten pounds since my second child and I can't seem to lose it no matter how I try to improve my diet. I just started exercising again so I hope I see a difference soon.

I have five more weeks to go and then I will be heading this way! I'm not breastfeeding, so I'm hoping that will let me get on track faster. I originally lost 83 lbs. with Jenny Craig and I'm going back!
