Hello, im new to this, so please bear with me. My name is Nicole, im 24, I went to a weight loss dr yesterday (1/30/2012) and she perscribed me Phentermine 37.5. I currently weigh 279lbs I want to get down to around 150, I just want to be healthy again. With life, and kids, and work....I just kinda let my health slip away....and comments, encouragement,or advice if you have been on Phentermine would be very appreciated!! Have a great day!!!

I hear ya about life, kids, and work.  What has helped me the most is a couple of things. I'll throw them out there and maybe some of it might help you.  Try not to think about the things that scare you the most if they don't motivate you.  I freaked out when I realized I had to lose 138 pounds.  I felt debilitated.  I decided not to focus on that, just to focus on 20 pounds.

Another thing that helps me is that I will never give up. That doesn't mean I won't have slip ups. I've realized that the slips are going to happen, you just have to accept it and keep going. Even if you slip bad. It helped me to know even if it takes me until I'm 80 years old, I'm never going to give up completely.

Here's a little about me.  After having my last baby, I was 278 pounds at my highest pregnancy weight.  My goal is somewhere around 140.  I think it's great you are doing this now!  I know how hard it can be when life gets in the way.  There will be great days, bad days, and all the days in between, but if you just make a plan to eat healthy and exercise, the weight will come off. Lately my mantra to tell myself when it gets tough (feeling unsatisfied and hungry) is that "It'll be worth it."  That makes me feel better knowing that when I'm at my goal it will be so great and it'll all be worth this suffering. :)

Hope you're off to a good start. I'm curious about the Phentermine, although I have high blood pressure, so probably couldn't take it.

I agree with Katyslosinit, make a plan and stick with it. If you slip, just start again. Dieting wont work you must change your way of eating.

If you missed it please download my free 124 page PDF depicting in pictures, recipes, and grocery list how I lost 100 pounds in 150 days without exercise. It's the solution to your problem. I swear, follow the program and a pound will end up in the toilet. I guarantee it, just try it. It shocked me. And its free. I'm not selling anything.
