Monitor your food intake
This section allows you to monitor your food intake. Choose the day you are entering your food consumption for and select the food consumed from the extrapounds database.
The food database has a large range of nutritional information, including Jenny Craig and Weight Watchers meals and can be viewed in two easy-to-use formats.
For example, the tree view enables you to click on a food category and display all the sub-categories and foods that are included in that category.
Or search directly for a food by entering the word into the food search.
Once you have found your food, simply select that item and click on it to submit it to your log.
At the end of the day you can see how many calories you have consumed and compare this to your target consumption. You can also then subtract the calories recorded from your activity log to see your overall calorie intake.
As well as the database you are given the option to add a personalized food that doesn't exist in the database. You can also mark a favorite food to save time searching the database for it each time you want to enter it.
