Fat flush plan
The author behind this plan is celebrity nutritionist. Ann Louise Gittleman, Ph.D., C.N.S. Her Fat Flush Plan develops a low-carb/detox diet with a fitness program. According to Ann, the liver is the most essential organ of the body that is used to maintain weight loss, so eliminating its toxins will help optimize its functions. Giving the body a cleansing boost will get rid of bloat, support the liver, clean up the lymph, and help eliminate permanently the appearance of cellulite.
General:
The Fat Flush consists of 3 phases:
Phase 1:
The Two-Week Fat Flush (this is the most rigorous part of the plan, with restricted foods and consisting of a 1100 -1200 calories daily diet),
Phase 2:
The Ongoing Fat Flush (designed for ongoing weight loss, with 1200 to 1500 calories each day, and is designed to be followed until you reach your desired weight or size).
Phase 3:
The Lifestyle Eating Plan (offering over 1500 calories daily, with the goal of providing a basic lifelong eating program designed to increase long-term vitality and well-being). Phase 3 adds more carbohydrates, such as potatoes and rice, along with dairy products.
Foods eaten in this plan are essential fats, along with low glycemic fruits and veggies, lean meats and eggs, fish, whole foods and greens, while sugar, bread, white potatoes, and other refined carbs are not allowed.
