Before After

Happy Monday!

So, I went for a walk yesterday.  Stretched for a LONG time afterward, and lo and behold, I don't feel bad today!  YEA for walking with no pain after!

The little experiment with trying to walk 40 minutes has taught me two things.

1.  My back is still hurt.
2.  I'm REALLY out of shape.

So, back to walking 3 times a week, for only 20 minutes, for SIX weeks which puts me at the week between Christmas and New Year's.  I can add time at the New Year.

I dug out some old pilates dvd's to start doing those and maybe mix in some LIGHT yoga, as the power yoga I was trying to do is probably a bit too much at this point.

Still debating on which scale to use.  Think I will adjust my weight sometime this week before Friday, and start using the new scale.  DSO has stepped on a few more times, and it seems accurate.  :)

Happy Monday, ladies!

oh!  would anyone be interested in a voice communication server we can all pop into and actually have a REAL conversation (with our voices)?  I used to use a Ventrillo server when I gamed, and I was considering setting one up for us that we could join at will, and talk to each other.

Let me know, and I'll set it up if there is some interest.  It requires you have speakers and a microphone or headset as well as some type of sound ability on your computer.

Welcome to ONE-derland
The scenery is lovely!!

YAY @ walking with no aches!!

I'd use your new scales too.

Hope you had a great Monday

..oh no to your

back hurting still :( will pilates and yoga not KILL your back?

...

The computer idea sounds fab, but personally I'm not technically minded and I don't have those things you mentioned available. I used to go to a gentle yoga group before my surgery and that really helped my back, although I know that everyone's bodies are different. Just take things easy and see how your body responds

you'll be amazed

at how quickly your body improves.   It's amazing. But I've got to get into a classroom and fill in for a teacher!  Have a great Monday
