2 days down... still on a roll
I am officially over 48 hours binge-free. Do I think I'll ever binge again? Absolutely -- but I'm going to ride this as long as I can. Like I predicted, I have no desire to eat anything drenched in sugar or fat. It's like the first 72 hours are the detox -- and then my cravings subside.
I got on the scale this morning. No loss... in fact a tiny gain, but totally not discouraged. I feel puffy, and by looking at my ankles. I know I am. Besides, I feel "good" and that' more important than the flippin' scale anyways... right? 
Tonight I am having dinner at a co-worker's house. Some sort of black bean chili. I'm going to practice portion control and hopefully I'll be successful. It'll be good practice.

Sugar!!
I will agree that after a certain amount of time you no longer crave sugar or fat the way you once did. That doesn't mean you aren't ever going to crave it though. I am so proud of you!!
Thank you for stopping by my blog. The latest I eat anything is 7:30 PM. I have water up until I go to bed though, mostly because I'm thirsty. I hope you are right about the nice pending drop on the scale. Let's hope that is what my body is getting ready to do. Your support means so much.

that portion control! congrats on the "detox". i keep reading about peoples bodies going through detox and ya know, i dont think i have experienced this yet. although i think it will happen soon because i plan to stop my caffeine addiction. thats going to be tough. i might not make it through that struggle!
