9/10/11 weight update

It's been a struggle but I'm still in the weight loss thing for the long haul and haven't given up I just forget to loge in and update over here.A month back I made it to the 250's and 53# down...within 3 weeks and while on vacation I gained 8.2 pounds. I refocused myself and lost 6.6# putting me @ 258.6 and 51.4# down. I'm pushing myself!!

2/5/11 weigh in

This weigh in was a bust...well not a bust because I'm wiser now.  I gained 3.4 pounds. While I don't feel like I gained much; I feel a bit bloated...the scale says otherwise (and I believe it lol). Now that I look back on the week(s) I have been semi- aware of what I ate but not tracking consistently. This past week I was really exhausted all week and exercised some but I ate the wrong kind of meals waay too late.

This week I will focus on tracking, water intake, eating dinner no later than 8pm, watching my carbs and steady and hard exercise. I might not make my 50 lbs by 2/19 but maybe the week after. This is a minor set back I'm still going full speed ahead.

41.4 down; 8.6 to go until the big 5-oh!!

1/29/11 weigh in

This past week wasn't horrible and was almost like a maintenance week. I'm .4 down this morning and am happy to have lost. While I did work out really hard this week I and found out I can indeed run for short intervals of time on the treadmill l also did some things I shouldn't do (as much) like eat carbs (muffins and Suzy Q's are not my friend). I'm sure working out helped and I really feel great.

So todays loss puts me at 44.8 down...sooo close to 45 and really close to 50 as well. 3 weeks from today makes my 1 year WW anniversary and my mission is to focus, keep up exercise (more time will be put in and I will push myself more), keep up the water intake like I have been doing, remember to take all my meds and drop these 5.2# I know I can do this.

Guess who's back?

...or should I say guess who's back for now lol. I'm a terrible extra pounds blogger. I have recently picked up blogging elsewhere so maybe I will just post some of that on here. I plan on logging in my weight weekly so maybe I can make a quick post.

I haven't blogged on here in 6 months but I have been keeping up with weight loss and have been successful in my time away. I trip and make mistakes because I am human but feel good about what I have done because I am in this for the long haul!!

As of my last WW weigh in on Saturday I have lost 44.4 pounds in 11 months. My goal is to crack 50lbs by my 1 year WW anniversary date on 2/20...I think I can do this but if not I will pass the 50lb mark soon.

6/4/10 weigh in

I've lost 2.4 pounds since last week and a total of 23 overall!! I'm just 7 pounds from the  goal WW set for me and about 8.6 pounds away from a personal goal I set for myself (278).

Since I'm going away this weekend and am not 100% sure of the food options I've bought some healthy snacks and some oatmeal and smoothies i can use for breakfast or throughout the day. I plan on choosing more proteins and less carbs.

May weigh in's (a re-cap)

I pretty much didnt post for the entire month of May. May was my worst month yet...I jept going up and down the same pound. Finally at my last weigh in I lost 2.0 putting me at 289.0 also pushing me over the 20# mark!!!

Tomorrow I weigh a day early...am I nervous...always!! I have been working out but I have been too indulgent....lets just pray my workouts and the last chance workout(s) I'm definetly doing tonight will keep off anything that feels like jumping my way.

Overall I am really happy to be down 20.6# I feel lighter and my clothes are starting to feel roomier...I'm getting fit under my flab lol.

5/1/10 weigh in

I lost 1.4# since last week which brings my total to 19.8 overall. I've lost 6.4% so far whoo hoo!!

Things I did right were exercising daily and tracking my food.

My goal for ths week is to lose 3# and to not to use all of my extra points. I will also exercise more and harder. Water intake as always needs to increase.

4/24/10 weigh in

I lost 2.4# and 18.4 overall...as the weight loss increases I feel better and better. I feel this is the time my ah-ha moment to make me lose weight.

I'm aiming to lose 3# by next week

5k

I walked a 5k on Saturday I felt really accomplished and am ready to do another once the pain from this one subsides lol

4/16/10 weigh in (1 day early)

I don't remember if I wrote it here or not, but last week I told my friends and family that I wanted to knock out 3.4 pounds or more within 1-2 weeks (preferably 1 week). My hard work paid off becuase I lost 3.8 this week and made my 5% goal!!! It felt sooo good to complete the ticker I made for myslef...I just set up the next goal of 278 which puts me just over 10%. I'm on my way.

These things have helped me get to my goal
1. Tracking- I don't hate it as much as I used to and it has helped me see
     where I've messed up.
2.  Looking at my tickers and weight log book as a reminder of what I want
3. Support from friends, family and the team at WW although I'm not really a
    vocal member (yet).
4. Reminding myself that I'm not paying to gain weight.
5. Knowing that I am getting healthier and closer to goals we want.
6. Exercise...I was a beast this week and racked up lots of activity points
walking, using the wii, the treadmill, etc.

Things I will improve upon and focus on next week(s).

  • Drinking more water...this hasn't quite happened as much as it should
  • Completing the exercise regimen on the biggest loser and/or the wii active
  • Finding some healthy recipes to make for me & the BF especially breakfasts.
  • Leaving the desk/pc more
