Tuesday Walk Results and weight check

Today walked my 30 minutes and also ran by the doctors office to weigh myself (my doctor doesn't mind me coming in and using the scales there to weigh myself, no charge for it, just walk in and turn it on and step on and see the results.)  The good news is now down to 343!!! Means I've lost 50 lbs!  1st major goal achieved! Walking Results Total number of Steps:  3509 Total distance: 1.329 Burned 315.8 calories!

going through some photos, found some of me, close to the time I started my diet.  So I've posted them to remind me of what I look like, when I have lost 50 lbs (this next week I hope!)  I'll take some current pictures and post.

Sat morning walk

Today walked the same as thursday, so I know i am keeping the same pace at least. Number of Steps: 3539 Distance: 1.340 miles Burned 318.5 calories.

I had not reset my pedometer since I went walking on Thursday (27) morning.  So here is what it said about my last walk.  Note: for the calories burned, it is based off of my weight, but the pedometer only goes upto 300, so I probably burned a few more calories than it says.  Can't wait until below 300 so I know its acurate, well as acurate as a pedometer can be anyway. Says I took 3485 steps Walked a distance of 1.320 miles Burned a total of 313.6 calories.   I'll update with today's walking totals after I get back from it later this morning.

Start

Well, just ran across this place to create this blog.  Seems like it wil be nice as I've wanted to start recording my exercise and weight loss week to week. Started in August taking Phentermine.  I was doubious at first, but within 2 days, my appitie was gone!  WOW made a huge difference in what I ate.   I used to be able to eat a 12 inch sub from Mr. Goodcents without to much of a problem.  Now, taking Phen, I can barely eat a 6 inch one before I'm full.   So far I've lost ~ 45 lbs since I've started.  I've also started exercising now.  I walk 3 times a week.  I started out  walking 15 minutes each time and did that for 3 weeks.  I then increased my walking to 20 - 25 minutes for 2 weeks.   This week just increased my walking time to 30 minutes.  I will try and do 30 minutes 3 times a week for 2 - 3 weeks and see how it is.  Hopefully after I adjust to 30 minutes of walking, I hope to add another day then another to get to walking 30 minutes a day 5 times a week.
