The Harsh Truth.......
I can never stay on track! I have been fat for way too long, almost 15 years. Something has to change. I know what to do its just a matter of doing it. I have journaled my food for 8 weeks now, but it doesn't help if you don't eat right and measure. I don't exercise, pretty much I just don't give a damn and I need to. So today we turn that dreaded page again and try. We are measuring our food, slapping the pedometor on and drinking some more water. Will this be the true start of my weightloss journey for me, is it the right time? We can only wait and see......

.
There is an easy way to see if you are rally ready. I've recommended this book a lot: 100 Days of Weight Loss by Linda Spangle. You can download the first seven days on her website I linked to, to see if it is anything that might help you.

Keep Fighting!!
Don't be discouraged. I too have been battling weight for 20 years and I know exactly how you feel. I have all the tools to lose weight and I know all the so called right things to do but getting past that mental block is the first step and it is certainly the hardest. Your mind is going to keep wanting to follow the same routine as you've done for the last 15 years. But you have to fight it. Remember where the mindset got you in the first place. Start with setting a small goal. Maybe just one for the coming week. Battle your weight in smaller increments because you can't reach your larger goal without reaching some smaller goals. Keep fighting and you will get there!
