update
Haven't posted in a while... Here's what's been happening in my life.
On February 17 I got a call from my mom telling me that my Great Grandma was not doing so well. So I hopped in my car and drove the 5 hours back to my home town. Got to visit with my Grandma, and spent my brothers birthday with him. I was away from my home for less than 48 hours, so it was a pretty whirlwind trip.
The day I got back, February 19, I had to go to the clinic and get 3 moles removed. So I had stitches and I was super tired from my trip. So I didn't get to go to the gym. I was nervous about moving my arm and back a bunch, since that's where my stitches were. I think one of my worst fears is ripping out stitches, so I'm overly careful when I have them. :)
On February 23, my Grandma passed away. She was 100 years old and 7 months, minus 5 days. She lived an awesome life and taught me more history than any history class ever could.
On February 26 I went and had my stitches removed, only to find out that they all came back with suspicious results. That sucks. Now I have to go back in in April and have more tissue removed from the 3 areas, and have an additional 4 moles removed. This is becoming a huge pain in the ass, but I guess it's better to get them off now than have them turn into cancer.
Anyways, I didn't really exercise for about a 2 week period. However, I heard an ad on the radio about a marathon that is coming up, and they were talking about the half marathon (13.1 miles) and how lots of people walk it, and they were just encouraging people to sign up... so I'm gonna do it. The half marathon that is. I got a training program from runnersworld.com, and I'm going to try and do this. My goal is to just finish it by any means possible... walking/jogging/shuffling/crawling whatever, as long as I can cross that finish line! The marathon is in the middle of July, so I have a bit of time to get into better shape.
I'll try and get better at posting so I can update everyone on my training.

4 days!
So today I get all ready for my 4th day this week, go out to my car and it's been ransacked! Luckily whoever did it either got interrupted or is the worst burgler ever, cause they didn't take anything. I don't usually keep a lot of stuff in my car, but I did have a couple of CDs and my iPod attachments. No iPod, but the thing that you plus it into so you can listen to it through your speakers. So I'm happy that they left that!
The funny thing is, I ALWAYS lock my car. However, yesterday I went to change my license plates (got new ones, from CA back to MT) and I must have not locked it. First time in 3.5 years of owning my car that I haven't locked it, and someone goes through it. Makes me wonder how many times people have walked by and tried to open it. Anyways, the whole thing really freaked me out!
Oh yeah, and there's been a rash of break-ins around the town I live in, and lots of people have gotten their windows broken. So maybe I'll just take everything out of my car and leave it unlocked. lol
Anyways, it didn't deter me from going to the gym, so I have successfully gotten back on track after last week. Maybe I'll even go tomorrow to make it 5 days... that would be rad. :)

Gym 2 of 4
Gym again today...
36 minutes, 613 calories, and I think it was 3.29 miles... but I can't really remember.
I also walked to the University with Kadin, and I think it's over a mile one way, so that was good. We went to play pool with a friend, so sadly Zero did not get to come. But I'm gonna take him over to the field in half an hour (when the biggest loser is over!) so he can get his exercise in today as well. :)

Gym 1 of 4
Went to the gym yesterday. Did 36 minutes, 606 calories, and 3.25 miles. I have the next three days off (including today) so I plan on going all 3 of those days for a total of 4 days this week. I can do it. I have no excuses why I can't!

No excuse...
I wish I had an excuse as to why I only made it to the gym TWICE last week, but I don't. I'm not working much right now, so I can't say I was busy at work. I just don't know what happened! All of a sudden it was Saturday, and I don't know how I spent the other 5 days! Pitiful!
On the plus side, I have been taking Zero for many walks. I know it's not huge cardio, but it's moving! And Zero likes it. :)
Oh, and last night I went to the New Shanghai Circus... it was amazing. The things that your body can do if you just train is amazing. I'm sitting there watching the strength of these men and woman (who actually looked like boys and girls... they were young!) and I felt retarded that I can't even do a pull up.
During this one segment, there was a post in the ground with a mouth guard on top, and this girl bit onto the mouth guard and contorted her body so that it was bending over her head and HELD HERSELF IN THE AIR WITH HER JAW!!! It was amazing. Oh, I found a picture of something similar!! They did this at the show, but only one girl did the whole biting onto the mouth guard thing.

Monday Gym 1
So I forgot to post on Monday, but I went to the gym. I only did like 25 minutes of the elliptical, cause then I went and did some weights. Except, I need a sheet of exercises or something to follow, cause I felt pretty lost on THAT side of the gym!!!
Anyways, that's my little post. Not sure if I'm gonna go to the gym tonight at all, I'm pretty tired. However, after I watch the Biggest Loser I might get the motivation I need... if not, I'll hold on to it for tomorrow!

4 days baby!
I set a goal at the beginning of this week, and I made it! Four days of going to the gym. Today I did 38 minutes and 652 calories.
Also, I stepped on the scale yesterday and it said up 4 pounds, but I didn't think that was right, so I weighed myself again this morning, and it was 165.8... so I'll take that one!!
Anyways, my goals for next week are 4 days of the gym again, and at least 2 weight lifting sessions as well. This week I've just done cardio, and I want to add weights, so that's my goal!

Gym 2 and 3
Went to the gym both Wednesday and Thursday as well, making it 3 days so far this week. On Wednesday I did 610 calories in 35 minutes. Yesterday I tried level 15, and only made it to 25 minutes for a total of 430 calories. But I guess that's better than nothing! I'm gonna stick to level 14 for a while, cause I'd rather be able to go longer.
I think I'm gonna take today off, and then go on Saturday to meet my goal of 4 days this week. Next week I'm gonna try and space it out more, so I don't have to go for 4 days in a row.

3 minute yummy apple
OK, so I bought apples, and was going to just eat the apple, but I really really really wanted something sweet, so I made a yummy "baked" apple in the microwave. It only took like 3 minutes total, and it was delicious!
Here's what I did, if anyone wants to try it out!
- de-core an apple and slice it (you can also cut off the skin if you want)
- place in microwaveable bowl and sprinkle with cinnamon and sugar
- I also added a tiny bit of honey and brown sugar. I prolly could have done without the brown sugar. Even though I didn't add much, it was still a little too sweet for me. Your call.
- Then I microwaved it for about 1.5 to 2 minutes.
- ENJOY!
I know it's not as healthy as just eating the apple, but it sure satisfied my sweet tooth! And it's better than eating cookies!!

Gym 1 of 4
Went to the gym today... did 35 minutes and burned 583 calories! And I did it on level 14!!!
I know is Tuesday, but my goals for this week are:
- Going to the gym 4 days
- Eating healthy desserts!
Desserts are huge for me at night, so I went and bought some fruit and yogurt. Hopefully that will satisfy my sweet tooth! I also bought some mint gum, cause they suggest doing that on the Biggest Loser, so we'll see how it goes! I don't really chew gum, but if it works I'll let ya know!
