Before After

Okay, I'm a failure....

At least on my diet I am.   I cannot seem to get back on track.  I don't know what to do.  I will do good for a couple of days and then fall off again.  I was so determined for a long time and then I got off course.  I wish I could get back on track.  I need to before I gain all my weight back.  I could say that I have a lot of stress on me right now and blame that, but that would be a cop-out.  I can't seem to focus on my diet.  Maybe I can get back on track before too long!

You're only a failure if you stop trying

don't stop trying.... get back on your plan and if you mess up try again.  Don't beat yourself up over it.  You can do it, you've done so well in the past.  I'm glad to see a post from you, i was wondering what had happened.  Julie

you have a lot going on in your life.

Stress makes it hard to begin anything.  You need to be kind to yourself.  I'd just focus on good healthy food for both of you, chicken, lean beef, fresh vegetables. whole grain breads.  Don't worry about amounts, or being perfect.  Just good healthy food that will give you strength for what you are facing.

.

Maybe because you are calling it a diet and that instills all kind of bad things in our minds, first of all rules that can be broken.

Look to lifestyle changes that you can and will do forever.  One thing at a time if you have to.

First stop beating yourself up about it!

Hello Cathy, please do not talk yourself into being a failure because you are NOT!  The stress you are having at home is not an excuse for falling off the wagon, stress is a tough one to get round and of course it will upset your routine and being able to concentrate on the good things.  You will come good I have every confidence, it may take a bit of time till you feel better within and can tackle healthy eating once more, but you WILL do it.

take care xxx Mary
