Working Mommas: The Last Buffet

OK - so after the massive Mother's Day buffet, which I thoroughly enjoyed yesterday, I am starting all over - AGAIN.

Yes, on the Hoodia, as it seems to agree with me.  It is my third (?) week and my flatulence has gone down.  I've also learned to watch my water intake so that I do not have another parched mouth attack in the middle of the night.

The rundown of today's intake (Monday 5/11):

Breakfast:  coffee and biscuit
Lunch:  water and Lean Cuisine
Dinner:  4 pieces of chicken tenders, a biscuit and water

Now I know this is not the healthiest intake, but compared to yesterday, believe me, it is quite an improvement.

Now, here's a rundown of yesterday's (5/10)  intake, which may scare you a bit:
BRUNCH - ham, rice, salmon, shrimp, eggs benedict, creme brulee, coffee, roast beef, vegetables, mojito

This, of course, is a list and not indicative of size or portion - which was embarrassingly humongous.    I had to keep my movie star sunglasses on whenever I revisted the buffet line.

I can go on and say, "Well I am a Momma and I'm Working on it, and after all, it is Mother's Day..."

But even I have to admit, I know myself enough that I simply need to stay away from buffets.  Thus, I have made a commitment to steer away from buffets for the rest of the year.

Buffets are tough

I hit a few of them when I was in Reno.  That old urge to "get your money's worth" while enjoying the variety of good foods is deadly.
