Well, today was week 3 on the new WW program. This time, the doctor has ordered it! My cholesterol was up and I REALLY don't want to go on meds! Who knows how I'd EVER get off of that! Also, my liver was starting to show signs of fatty infiltration - GROSS! So, the doctor prescribed diet and exercise and told me to stop putting it off - JOIN WEIGHT WATCHERS! I was putting it off b/c I didn't want to have to learn the new Points Plus system, but I have learned it and LOVE it! According to my start date with them, I've lost 6.8 lbs as of today! Now that you can use an app on the phone for keeping track of points, it's fantastic!
So, that's where I am! Still teaching and raising 2 girls who lead ACTIVE lifestyles that keep me running! Also, I have just over 10 months until I turn 40, so I REALLY want to lose most if not all of this weight by then! Maybe turning 40 won't be as hard then!
It's time to start again. Tired of trying on clothes that don't fit and seeing photos of myself looking gigantic. DONE! So, didn't have a great breakfast, but after going to a Rays game, I did ok. Had 1/2 a sandwich at the game and a Skinny Cow ice cream sandwich after. Then had a salad for dinner.
My new challenge is set to lose 30 pounds by my birthday which gives me just shy of 3 months. I actually wanted to start last Sunday, but got a little off. I'm going to work on the 100 days of weight loss (journaling) and try to count the points via the old WW system. I don't want to join WW again since it would require me to learn a whole new system and I've had this point system in my head for about 12 years! I'd rather stick with what I know works. Also, I'll be focusing on getting in as many fruits, veggies, and grilled foods as possible. I'm lowering carbs, such as bread and pasta, as well.
That's my plan. I'm tired of being lazy and I need to get healthier, so here we go again!
Well that's not too bad for not really being on my plan! Back on track tomorrow! With the passing of Labor day, summer is officially over. :( We did make it to the beach this weekend and we had a blast! I'd like to try to make it next Saturday too, but it seems softball will be starting for my little one. I don't know yet if she has a game, but we have to plan for it.
So, now that summer is over it's time to get back to work! If only I could get on track and STAY on track! Now's the time! =)
I am back at work now - and it's still stressful, but I am taking my lunch daily and trying to get back into the swing of it! When I take my lunch I do a much better job at eating better.

I guess you can't lose weight if you don't do anything about it. I've been busy this week with VBS and exhausted after! I went to a water park after VBS one day, but the eating sucked that day! I just can't seem to get into the swing of it!
I have one more week off before school starts, but 2 of those days I have trainings and I need to go work in my classroom to set up before the 16th. I had to move rooms this year so I have to rearrange everything! I don't have to go in early, but I will have more time when we officially go back if I do some this week.
Well, this was a good week in that my summer school ended on Thursday! But not so good b/c I gained! I just cant seem to get back into the swing of it! But this week is VBS, so another busy one!
Another weekend trip took me away this weekend! I LOVE those! Went to the beach with one of my college roommates and her daughter. It's so fun to have our kids hang out! Unfortunately, this is friend #3 this year who is splitting with her husband! 2010 is not working out to be a great year for my friends and their hubbies!

That was a 4 lb. loss this week!! AMAZING what staying on your plan will do! It also didn't hurt that I had to work (summer school) and had trainings 4 afternoons after work! I was gone from 7 am - 6 pm each day! Now that might be normal for some of you, but I'm a teacher and it's not for me - especially in the summer! So another reason why the beach weekend was so needed!
One more week of summer school, then 2 weeks off. But one of those includes VBS, so not really off either! But summer is awesome, NO MATTER WHAT!
After spending the weekend away, I did splurge a bit, but I am ready to get right back on track! I can't gain any of those 4 lbs back! Ready to work it!

GREAT day today!! It helps to stay on track when I'm working! And after work I had a training, so didn't have time to come home and snack! PLUS, I ate at home! We've been eating out so much lately that I have not been able to stay on track.
I am still having a tough time! My weight went up b/c I was eating out a lot and not really watching what I was eating! But, I've joined WW online and I've been grocery shopping, so it should be a better week!! Here's the weigh in so far...
