Before After

And I am back

So even after the long weekend away, I still managed to lose 1.7kg which I am very happy about. :)

Going away for the weekend

So far I am back on track and feeling good! I am going away for the weekend though, so I need to make sure I be careful not to slip.

Luckily my fiance is coming along with me, and we can help keep each other honest. :)

WEEK 3 WEIGH

So as suspected I did not do as well this week, but I think it is important to log the not so successful weeks as well. I just need to re motivate myself and make up for the 800g gain this week.

Feeling a little down

This week has definately not been as good as the previous weeks. I am really looking forward to my night shifts being over. I was just so tired, and combined with the fact that we were kinda surviving between pay cheques, the food we have been eating hasnt been as appetising. I hope all of this doesnt affect the scales too badly on Sunday.

O a plus note, tonight is my last night shift and we are going grocery shopping on Saturday. Just need to hold on and keep going.

Last week of night shifts

Thursday night is my last night shift and I am looking forward to getting back to routine. Although, my next challenge will be going back to uni but I think I am up to the challenge. In fact I am looking forward to seeing my fellow student midwives after all the weight I have lost so far.

Been a bit strapped for cash this last week, so have been eating pretty bland with bacon and eggs for breakfast and sausages and salads for lunch and dinner but both Phillip and I get paid this week so it will be nice to go shopping for some variety.

Week 2 Weigh SUCCESS!!

Another 2.5 kilos down and LOTS to go. :)

I am feeling good though.

These night shifts are killing my routine

I cant wait till the end of next week when I can get back into my routine of three meals a day + excersise.

I went to the gym today after I woke up, but I am eating hardly anything. I had bacon when I woke up, and for dinner two meat balls and brocilli and almonds in cream cheese. However during the night I just dont get hungry so I am basically only eating two meals a day. Despite this the weight is still pouring off and I just dont get very hungry.

Cant wait till the week 2 weigh on Sunday.

Day 9

Woke up at 3:30 in the afternoon, too close to "dinner" time to have a proper meal, so I just cooked me three rashers of bacon to tide me over to dinner.
Dinner was a pork chop and salad. Went for a walk in the nice cool evening weather.

Other than doing the night shifts I am feeling good. Looking forward to the end of next week when the night shifts are over.

Day 8

I had a bit of a brunch today as I woke up late due to working night shifts this week. Me and my fiance went to Nandos as a special day out and had the chicken and salad. For dinner we had steak and salad.

Went to the gym today and the cross trainer kicked my ass. Still feeling good.

Change of breakfast is good

The start of week two of the induction diet has gone well so far. Instead of bacon and eggs we decided to have an omelette with onion, mushrooms, bacon and cheese instead and it was delicious and very filling. It was kinda a brunch actually. For dinner we had lamb chops and a salad.

We also went for a 1 hour walk which was nice. So far so good.
