Ok so it's lunchtime and the managers have decided to treat.  No one could agree on where we should order from.  I know the General Manager wanted pizza.  Everyone else was undecided.  So we agree on Italian. Now normally I would do a pasta, but I try to stay away from things like that.

My first choice was a salad, but I hate the Italian ones because I have to pick out the onions, olives, and green peppers.  At that point I am only left with the greens. Second choice was a spinach roll,  but  I wasn't  too sure with the ricotta and mozerella.  Dairy products have a way of catching up with me later (lactose intolarance

Then my General manager came over to me and was like "Let's get pizza, you wanna split a pizza with me?" Honestly I didn't want that as well, but I  couldn't find anything I wanted so I went ahead and opted to split a pizza with her.  I also tried to change everyone's mind by ordering from a place that sells rotissiery chicken ( but the GM doesn't eat meat). Oh well I might as well prepare myself.  I can see me at the FD now: sleepy,  bloated stomach due to pizza dough, and tomorrow the scale going up a couple of pounds.

Pizza

I gotta say, as much as people have told me that pizza is the death of all diets, I live off the stuff.  When Im really doing well I'll make pizza's at home and only occasionally order pizza but lately Ive ordered quite a bit (It was my birthday weekend and I could have pizza 3 nights in a row if I wanted!)  You just have to treat it like anything else, limit the quantity, and if you over do it on your portion keep that in mind for your next meal or the next day and balance it out.

Work lunches in general are hard.  Its soooo boring to sit alone at my desk and eat my packed lunch.  So its a much more appealing options to head out with friends and chitchat and relax for half an hour.  Add to that the temptation of hot food.  It takes a lot to do well at lunch!

I love Pizza!

We are having pizza for dinner tonight.  Love it!!!  You know, it's not so much the pizza, as how much you eat.  You can still enjoy things like that in moderation.  But if you're like me, you eat too many pieces.  I love pizza, did I mention that???

Not that bad

If it is veggie pizza (since GM doesn't eat meat), you get your exercise in, and drink plenty of water, it won't be that bad on the scales tomorrow. Just stay positive! It is only one meal.
