Doing it because I have to
Ok ok so I know I haven't been posting daily. It's just that work is starting to work my nerves
My supervisor has assigned me a duty that was split between two people and I really don't want to do it. I do basic admin work and part of that job description is to book meetings and bill our clients. Well now I have a fancy title of Meeting room coordinator (which is not an increase in pay) I still book, and bill clients for meetings but now I have to host an open house and place ads on CraigsList. #1 I am not good in sales or marketing.
So yesterday my co-worker and I had to go door to door with flyers we made informing other tenants in our building of the open house. It was horrific
I am very shy until I warm up to someone, then I can be myself and people can be so rude. A lot of tenants had left for the day but those who stayed behind gave us rude looks, didn't acknowledge us, and told us to just leave the flyers under the door. I felt upset about the whole thing. Not to mention once we were done, I had sweat rings under the arms of my shirt. I guess from being nervous.
What goes Up
will hopefully go down, I jumped on the scale this morning and it said 229.2 Oh well I just have to push harder.
Help is on the way
Yesterday was bellydancing class, and the teacher asked if she could see me after class.
I thought she wanted to talk to me about a walk-a-thon the ymca is having this sat, but she actually wanted me to start coming to her saturday class!!
She said that I was doing very well and she thinks I have excellent body movement.
Wow that good becuase sometimes I think my belly gets in the way. I can't quite tell if I am doing a move correctly because I have too much fat in my stomach area. She also wants to help me lose weight. Her recommendations: lots of water, veggies, and protein. No starches and no meals 3hrs prior to bed, she said If I that for a month I should see results.
Gotta Eat
I still have to find a way to not use up all the calories I eat and find a way to eat small meals per day. Oh well I may have to make a schedule for that.
I'm off tomorrow so enjoy Friday & have a good weekend.
