Baby steps...
Ok...so I ate really crappy today but I did exercise. I walked for 45 minutes which is usually around 2 miles for me. That was my first time getting out and walking since November. It felt great because it was a beautiful day here...it already feels like spring. My lilies are starting to bloom and everything. Anyway, I went to the grocery store tonight and kind of stocked up some healthier eating options...fruit, yogurt, bottled water, soup, etc....so I am hoping to get myself back into better eating this week. I only went to Curves once last week and they are starting a new weight management class where you are suppose to workout at Curves 3 times a week and keep a food journal every week. I am going to do my best to stick with it but it is kind of hard right now because DH's car is not working.
I really want to try something more hard core to kind of jumpstart getting the holiday weight I gained off more quickly. I am really disappointed in myself. I can't believe I gained 10lbs in one month. It took me 2 months to lose that 10lbs and only one to gain it back. Anyway...any suggestions on something to try?

baby steps
i know it sucks, but baby steps are totally the way to do it! start slow, but then work your body up to working harder than you were before- that will help kick-start things. you will drop pounds like you wont believe!

Research
My suggestion to you would be to research. Maybe look on line to see how to jump start your metabolism or do a cleanse where you eat nothing but water and all organic or frozen veggies for one day. That you help elimate any built up waste and water weight.
Don't feel bad I have gained too, at least you are doing some exercise and you did go to the grocery store for healty options. I have yet to do that part. Just take it one day at a time.
Oh and I love your model. I think I wouldn't mind looking like her this summer LOL.

babysteps
Just like everyone said... baby steps.. Keep up with the daily writtings of your food and if you can't make it to curves try to do some excercises at home to make up for it. It's always easier to gain weight then to loose weight.. but keep your motivation high.. get out on those daily walks and keep pushing through!

Baby Steps
I think you need to start with baby steps and work back up to the same routine that helped you lose 18lb :)

Try not to be so hard...
Try not to be so hard on yourself. We all know how hard it is to lose weight and how easy it is to gain weight. You're on the right track with baby steps. Just keep going and hang in there.

Hey
10 pounds in a month isn't as bad as you're making it out to be, girlie! Once you've gone down, it's easier to get back down there. There's motivation enough for you to be successful, but I agree that it can be SO FRIGGING DIFFICULT TO MAKE MYSELF BEHAVE!!!!!
eeek
ok, have a great week now
