Monday came too soon

I had a very busy weekend and I am so tired. Between going out for a friend's bday Friday, going to the fair Saturday, having friends over for dinner, trying to do my usual weekend cleaning, and getting my workouts in, I don't feel like I stopped at all. And I couldn't sleep last night. Our friends didn't leave until after 11 so we didn't make it to bed until 11:30. Then I kept waking up every 2 or 3 hours last night, it was so weird. I didn't have to pee or anything. Just kept waking up.

I am looking forward to lunch today. I made a big salad last night and there was plenty left over so that is what I have for lunch today. It includes lettuce (of course), grape tomatoes, carrots, mushrooms, olives, onions, & cucumbers. I put a little deli ham on top to get some protein. I realized yesterday that I hadn't had a single fruit or veggie, except some mushrooms, since Thursday which I know is awful so I am going to make sure I get plenty this week. I had a banana for breakfast and, with the salad for lunch, I am off to a good start!

Workout plans for the week include going to Curves today through Thursday and walking and maybe doing the WATP dvd a couple mornings this week. I had planned to go to bed early last night so I could get up and do at least one mile but that got shot by the dinner runnning late and my wakeful night. I need to go to Curves 4 days this week so I can make up for missing out on Saturday. We are going to Alabama on Friday so I am going to have go 4 days in a row. Oh, and abs! These are goals. Let's see how it goes. I want to make it to 215lbs this week really bad.

take it easy

You sound like you have alot on your plate.. Please don't hurt yourself or stress yourself out.  You can reach your goal if you put your mind to it.. but don't forget to rest.  Rest is very important when excercing.  But you prob already know that

Great Job!

I am so happy for your successes.  Great job getting into 18's.  That is a huge success!  Way to go on the ab challenge.  I haven't done my crunches yet today, I plan to do them in front of the TV tonight since I have just about finished my homework that is due tonight.  Yeah!

It sounds like you have a great plan for the week, though.  Stick to it and you will reach your goals!

water aerobics

Good morning! Water aerobics is an excellent workout. And it's so much fun! For a long time, when I first started this exercise/weight loss plan, water aerobics was the only exercise I enjoyed. It really is a full body workout. I recommend deep water vs. shallow water though.
