1 more lb down
The scale said 216.4 lbs this morning! Yaaay! I am just always happy to see a new lower number on the scale even if it is only 1 lb. Every lb down gets me one lb closer to my ultimate goal. I know it is highly unlikely that I will lose 81 lbs between now and next July but if I can just get halfway to my original goal I will be so happy.
I am kinda disappointed in myself though. I did didn't really think about the fact that with my DH's car not working he would have to use my car to go to work today which means I can't get to Curves today. I guess I could walk. If there were sidewalks I would because it is only about 2 miles from my house. My DH would kill me for wanting to do that though. It's okay. I will get in some other exercise.
Yesterday, I walked a mile (took 20 minutes) and did my abs before we went out with our friends for dinner. I ate & drank a lot but I hadn't had a chance to slow down all day yesterday and we didn't eat until 9pm so I was starving at that point. It was a good, fun night and I am not that guilty about it.
I tried something new for lunch yesterday and it was, surprisingly, not as bad for me as I thought it would. I got one of those Oscar Myer Deli Creation flatbread sandwiches. The Fiesta Chicken kind. It consisted of chicken breast, cheese, salsa, and, well, flatbread. It was very tasty and only had around 250 calories and 8 grams of fat, about the same as a lot of Lean Cuisines except it was better because there was a lot more protein so I didn't get hunger pains at 3:30 like I usually do. A lot of the other kinds weren't as lowfat but that one is really pretty good to me. Add some fruit & water and you've got a really good healthy lunch. They are a little expensive but still cheaper that eating out at lunch. Ok...enough with the product endorsements.
Hope everyone has a great Saturday and sticks with their goals! I am going to try to!
