Day 13 of 21
Today was a good exercise day for a week day but I gave into a huge craving for chocolate. It was sooo good and so worth it. I am sorry. Sometimes, I just need some chocolate and lately it has been one of those times.
Back to the exercise...I joined the Ab Challenge and did my 25 crunches...on my office floor...during my lunch break. I shut the door of course. Last night I went to Curves and burned 403 calories (which I think makes up for the chocolate) and then I went to the track. I was kind of proud of myself. I walked one lap, ran the straights & walked the curves for 4 laps, and then walked another lap for a total of 1.5 miles. Now, I am proud because I was able to do those intervals for four laps in a row. Before I only did those intervals for 2 laps. I know it is nothing to some but it is a start for me. Next step...run a whole lap without stopping. I am taking baby steps here. I wanted to do 2 miles like usual but the urge to pee settled in and there are not bathrooms at the track so I had to cut it short.
I got some bad news last night at Curves. My fav coach, the one that does the good measurements, is leaving.
Her husband is being transferred to another base so they have to leave for Washington (the state) on October 20th! That is no time from now. It is sad. They just moved here last December from New Mexico, bought a house, and got married last month. She lost 60 pounds while she was here and going to Curves. Now, they have to move all over again. I am sad for her and sad for me too. Who is going to do my measurements now? J/K. I think I will just start doing them myself.
