Pre-Vacation Week

Next week is vacation week and in preparation of it I'm tagging along with DH in south Georgia.  I know it will be fun; all I need to do is to keep the food in  check.

We played 9 holes yesterday - a makeup round for my Wed. league... the plan for today is to play 36 holes.

Ahh...back to normal routine

Now that a couple of days have passed I feel a lot better.  Talie thank you for your kind words.

Now yesterday got back to my TK and did round 27.  Also did half of the Inhale - a yoga show aired on Oxygen. 

Today will be cardio party 2 and Cathe's legs and glutes.

I need to come up with a plan for the next 2 weeks.  We'll be leaving for GA on Saturday.  I might try to get day passes at local gyms to get my runs.  I have found tons of excuses for not running and if I don't pick it up soon I won't be able to run in a month.

Scale gave me today 129.4... I need to commit to exercise for real to get to 126 before Aug 10.

And then I'm by myself again

The girls left this morning... and once again I felt so sad to be myself. I know the feeling will leave pretty soon and I'll get back to my routine - I need to.  It was really fun  to have them here.

No exercise today.  I'm bummed that I haven't been able to run but hope that I can re-start next week.

Can't stop eating

Well, the golf was rained out... usually after golf is 1 beer and wings night.  Didn't have it; what do I do, instead of beign fortunate of not drinking those 100 calories; I placed an order @ Pizza Hut.  The plan is get my wings and cheese pan pizza for the girls.  I just couldn't walk away from the pizza yesterday night.

I so deserve to see that 129.8 this morning... I ate an extra 1000 calories.

Today so far has been a better day.  If I just can manage to stay away from the fast food rests.

Universal Studios... Again

Since the tickets we bought for U.S. had an extra 4 days left I decided to take the girls (again).  We got to the park around 5:30pm and stayed until it closed.  They had a ball! 

Then we had so unhealthy food from BK @ around 10:30pm.  That's why I'm so shocked of the weight drop.  I'm really surpised to see 128 again and so quick.  ahhh....life is good :-)

Wore my running shoes and a pedometer - walked 2 miles - 479 miles left on those.

Exercise today will be half a round of golf - weather permitting.

Workout

Ran 1mi with my sister today. We did it in 18:12.  Those running shoes have 481 miles to go.

Our Weekend

I only have 3 more days of 16hrs "shifts" to finish an embroidery order. We took a break last Saturday and took my sisters to Universal Orlando. They've never been there and we all had a blast.

DH & I went to the casting of Fear factor live but when they told us that we needed to change and use disposable underware my DH freaked out and said no. It was silly of his part...well I think the 'fear factor' got him since the casting call. So after crushing our hearts we went and watch the show. Show finishes and now he wants to do it...Sure, you don't have to eat anything disgusting and the bits are kind of easy; nothing extreme...Well by then it was too late, there was maybe 20 more people that thought the same thing and we didn't make it...bummer.

Our favorite new ride was the Mummy Returns. I had no idea it was a rollercoaster. The girls and I rode it 4 times in a row **awesome**. We dediced to do the single riders line as it was not even a 5min wait vs. a regular 45min wait. The girls convince my DH to ride this one (He doesn't like rollercoasters) and its fun watching him scream like a little girl as he's scared... And to think he was an Air Force pilot LOL.

Friday!!  I'm so happy its finally here.

I walk/jog 6.2 miles today, just to see what I can do and not bad for this to be my first real attempt.  I made it in 1:33:27 or 15:02 mph.  I'm very pleased with this. I probably run close to half.

the plan is to run 1mile Tuesdays and Thursday and 2 miles Mondays and Wednesdays.  Then I'll do my long run on Saturday.

I'm planning to do iStretch later on.

ramblings

I jog/walk 2mi yesterday (33:45) and I'm beginning to wonder if running with an empty stocmach is a good idea.  I'm not running today but I'll try to have some breakfast an hour before the run.

I'm working very long hours since I'll be off for 2 weeks in two weeks. This has not let me focus like I wanted with exercise.

Planet Fitness is opening in August here in my neighborhood and their pre-opening sale is $10/month pay-as-you-go.  I'm really considering it since I don't have the big bucks to buy a good treadmill & elliptical yet.

feeling blah...

Well between PMS-ing and TOM I've been on a carb eating frenzy...not good.  I'm feeling so bloated. Today the scale said 130.9 :-(  - need to get out of this funk and get my ass moving again.

I need to pickup my running... I'm getting nervous that I won't be able to make it.

On a brighter note the running shoes have 490 miles left. Also, I'm going to try to get my sisters to see the shuttle launch tomorrow (weather permitting)... it will be their first launch and they are really excited about it.
