Day 3 - Week 1 of 6

It was an ugly afternoon and I really thought that it was gonna be rained out but it didn't.  We played in a very humid course... it was so hot and steamy.  My quota was 8 points and I made it.  As of last week I was in 13th.  I might have a real chance!

Day 2 - Week 1 of 6

Cardio Party 1

Used itread for the first time and although I should give it more time to get familiar with it I much prefer cardio coach.

It was so humid outside that my run was almost painful. I'll be running (walk/jog) alternating 2mi & 1mi for 2 weeks.

Day 1 - Week 1 of 6: Action Plan

I have two action plans that overlaps (of course :D) to help me burn some serious fat, tone the muscles and help me with my run in October.

I have 16 weeks 'til the race and 6 week 'til Cali. 

Today's Workouts:

BK: Power Yoga, routine 2
JV: Definition LB regular plan
TK round 27

Regarding yesterday:
Yesterday played to make up my last Wednesday half round of golf. I got 11 points! That's the most I've got since the league started. My goal is to end in the top 10 in my first year. My quota is going up this week but if I can keep my frustrations out of the course I'll be ok.

47 days to Cali

Walked 5.5 miles today - that means my running shoes have 493.5 miles to go.  I love to buy shoes, so I can't wait until I 'have' to buy new ones :-P

I'm going to up my strength training sessions per week starting next week to see if that helps to tone.

I just finished watched Daddy Yankee concert on MTV2... It was soo good... need to buy his cd.

49 days to Cali

Did walk/jog for 1mile (19min) just to try my new running shoes.  I was reading where it says that the life of a pair of running shoes is 500 miles.  So 499 miles left on these :-)

After gettin back home did Cardio Party Remix... great workout. 

50 days to Cali

I did another 2mi run today.  This time I used cardio coach vol 2.  This was better since my 'track' is hilly.  My time was 31:19.  Yeap, I was able to jog for longer.  I did jog slower but I was able to keep it up.

After getting home I did Turbo Sculpt. I think I found my groove :)

2mi run

It took 32:21 to walk/jog the 2 mi today.  I used cardio coach vol 6 today and it was interesting.  I will use cardio coach vol 2 which is about 30min and hopefully better for what I want to accomplish.

I ran almost a mile nonstop today...big progress, yeah!

51 days to Cali

Yes, my wonderful DH bought me tickets to go to Turbo camp

I'm really excited as will take 6 turbo kick classes in a weekend!  Who knew I would be excited to be traveling to exercise :-) Will be meeting a lot of cyber friends and the TJ crew.  I just can't wait!!!!

I'm also still training for a 10k that I'm planning to run in Oct 8.  It would never cross my mind to be thinking about fitness at this point of my life. 

Another food strugle day

I have been able to change my behavior towards exercise.  I'm exercising 6 days a week and staying pretty active.  So, why in hell, I can't get my eating habits rolling!  I need to rethink my attitude and habits regarding  food.  Need to grasp this concept so I can move on in this healthy lifestyle.

That's the time to beat.  That's how long it took to walk a 10k.  Now I have a mark to better.  I have 17 weeks left to make a difference and I'll do my best to make it happen.
