Weekend Update
This has been a wonderful weekend, weatherwise. Since Ike came to town last Saturday, we've had nice days most of the week and all this weekend. I guess that's Mother Nature's way of making up for the mess last weekend. Everybody is out in their yards this weekend - cleaning up from Ike, getting another cut in before winter, cleaning up their flower beds, putting up their lawn furniture. We'll be doing some of the above later this afternoon - I need to mow the DMZ, the side and back yards and DH promised to cut up some brush for me (from cutting down part of the apple tree a month or so ago) so I can get it ready for the trash.
I have to get back to my graphics homework so here's the update on food and exercise for the weekend.
Friday: Breakfast - Silver Dollar Pancakes & Veggie Sausage, JC lite table syrup, 1/2 c OJ with Perrier, 1 c skim milk; AM Snack - Cookies & Cream Anytime Bar; Lunch - Turkey Chili, huge garden salad, Diet Coke with Lime; Dinner - MOMO at Carnivores - 3 pieces house favorite pizza (house favorite means mostly meat with a few mushrooms and onions), 3 Coors Light drafts, 1 wing with "fire in the hole" sauce; Late PM Snack - 2 huge servings of chocolate Haggen Daas with walnuts and Hershey's syrup; Took all vitamins and drank 64 oz water. Walked to/from work. Walked home. Steps: 11401 (70 aerobic minutes; 4.67 miles)
Saturday: Breakfast - Sunshine Sandwich, 1 slice fat free cheese, 1/2 c OJ with Perrier, 1 c skim milk; AM Snack - Cookies & Cream Anytime Bar, Diet Coke; Lunch - MOMO Chinese place in the mall - Spicy Orange Chicken, fried rice, 2 egg rolls, large Diet Lemonade from Chick-Fil-A; PM Snack - Jenny's Cheese Curls; Dinner - Mesquite Chicken; Took all vitamins and drank 56 oz water. Had tax class (got a hundred on Quiz 1). Mowed the front yard when I got home. Started laundry. Steps: 11633 (41 aerobic minutes; 4.77 miles)
Sunday: Breakfast - MOMO at Casey's with DH - 2 poached eggs, dry english muffin, banana, iced tea; Lunch - MOMO at Dairy Queen with DH - Double Classic Cheeseburger, small salad with 3/4 container blue cheese, Diet Coke; Dinner - Potstickers; Late PM Snack - Chocolate Chip Bites, 1 c skim milk (from breakfast); Ran c25k in Oakmont after breakfast. DH finished his coffee, at Casey's, then waited for me in the car. Did a little shopping at Target and Sam's. Still doing laundry. I have to start the next graphics assignment today. Also have to complete a few more drawings for the midterm in art class. DH is doing really well with one of the assignments that is due for midterm - drawing a tool in the style of Jim Dine. Never heard of the guy, however his tool drawings are really cool!
