O.k. busy weekend

Finally, kicked bil out.  It was hard b/c I hate it for him but it's his own fault.  He's had 10 months to find some place other then our house to live and he's made practically no effort.  DH and I had enough.  He's out as of Sat.!!!!!  My house is back! ;o).

We also broke down and bought a riding lawn mower for our little .5 acre lawn.  It was taking dh and I a total of 3 hrs. to mow!!!  We're both in pretty good shape we just live near the beach I guess.  Anyway, it now takes dh less then 1/2 hour to mow and he's sooooo excited about his new toy!  Guys are so easy to shop for but have very expensive taste! Hehehehehe

Wahoooooo, I lost a whopping 5.9 lbs. my first week of Core!!!  Can we say never going back to flex.  I've got court today but just wanted to log it in quick!

Oh my gosh

On Core I might actually be able to make my original goal of 160 by our anniversary!!!!  I've dropped about 6 lbs. since Mon.

I ran my 3 miles yesterday and oh man oh man do I feel great!  The only problem with losing weight is losing clothes.  I can now step in and out of some of my pants!

Finally

starting to like H2O.  Or at least I have been for the past couple of weeks!  Wahooooo.  I wondered when it would kick in.

It's amazing how getting in shape changes everything about a person.  I'm overall happier, love my water, always like fruits/veggies but appreciate and like them more now, love my runs!!!  Whodathunk it?

My goals were:
July 1 - 169 lbs.
Aug. 1 - 159 lbs. TTC #1
Obviously that isn't going to happen, so here we go.
New goals:
Aug. 1 - 169 lbs. - I can do this since I'm already at 170! No ttc baby, I really want to get in shape first and finances have gotten a little rotten.
Sept. 1 - 159 - still sticking with the 10 lb. loss a month b/c I switched to Core so we'll see how that goes.

I LOVE CORE!!!!

I'm sure this won't continue but 4 lbs. in 2 days!!!!  I'm now at 170.5 and have surpassed my second 10%.  I know I said I wasn't going to update my weight tracker but once a week but ummm...maybe that will start next week.  This is just too cool!

Well, my legs are getting bigger according to the measurements but they're fitting into my pants better? It must be the running.  Waist and hips decreased, wahoo!

Couldn't wait, had to update

my weight tracker.  First day on Core and I lost 1.5 pounds over night!!!!!  I know it could be many things but it put me over the 40 lb mark so I had to update!!!!  I will only add my next weight on Mon. for a true loss.  So who knows it could stay the same but I hope not!  I love Core!

Yesterday this is what I got to eat:

Breakfast: 1 egg, 1 1/2 cups skim milk, banana
Lunch: veggie and chicken soup (homemade and very good)
Snack: nectarine (I'm weird, I like mine crunchy like an apple)
Dinner: Chicken in tomatoes, bulgar mixed w/ zuchini and summer squash
Desert: sf ff chocolate pudding mixed w/ 1/3 cup sf cherry pie filling - yummo!!!

My new food find - bulgar.  Who knew it would taste so good, definitely a must try for a rice substitute w/ a nutty flavor.  I was a little worried about it but even dh (picky eater) liked it.

Down 1 lb. - 174.1

Well, it's not too bad.  During the week last week I actually go down to 173.?  But, it's a loss and I'll take it!

I love my 3 miles jogs!  Now if only I could get my dogs trained to run with me instead of under my feet that way I could take them and wear them out :o). 

Started Core today and Love it already!!!  I got to drink skim milk w/out measuring!!!  Man, have I missed my milk.  It's so high in points when you are doing flex.  Breakfast was one egg, banana and skim milk.  Yummy!!!!  I have to go to court today (work) which I completely forgot so I probably won't get my snacks in.  Urgghhh, I was looking forward to my apple/nectarine.

About one month away from 2 year anniversary.  Tim and I hope to go backpacking at Grandfather Mt if gas doesn't continue to rise and he his business keeps looking good!  It's been almost a year since we've gone and we're both having backpackers w/drawal!

3 miles!

Yahooozer! Last night I ran 3 miles straight.  My longest achievement yet.  It was nice especially since it wasn't too hot yesterday.  I will either do the same tonight or walk 6 miles on the beach with hubby and furbabes.

New food finds (for me) roasted red pepper hummus with veggies.  I'm having this for lunch today using the hummus as a dip for the veggies 2 pts total.  Yum - who knew?  1/2 cup of fiber one mixed with lowfat/ff yogurt.  Also very good.

I'm trying to gear up for my switch to Core on Mon.  I think I'm going to really like Core (hubby won't - whole wheat pasta :o). 

AF is here and amazingly she's not treating me too bad.  I'm up about 1 lb to 175.  We'll see what Mon. wi brings.  BIL will be gone camping all weekend!!!!! Yahoo, house to ourselves and next month all to ourselves all the time b/c he will be gone. Yes, I know I said this last month but, this is it.  No more extensions. I'm getting to the point where I don't even like him.  I'm sure that will revert back once he's gone.  But hello, he's been living with us since Oct. of last year!  I want a child but not one close to my age!!!!!

Chopped it again!  Not a big difference, but definitely lighter!

Hardly ran at all yesterday, dh had to do an estimate in emerald isle last night and wanted me to go w/ him for qt.  How sweet!!!! By the time we got back it was getting kind of dark so I didn't run my whole distance, I don't even think I got half in.  Oh well, today's another day!
