Before After

catching up...

Classes started back today. Usual 1st day chaos but no big surprises yet WHEW! I will try to catch up with your blogs ASAP. I usually blog from work as you all know how busy it is at home. Also my laptop has a lovely virus so until I bring it in can't use it and have to fight 14 year old to use other computer lol. And when use desktop at home usually have lots of nosey peeps hovering .. so will try to play catch up over next few days.

Seem to be back on track with food and exercise.

Have new POA (plan of action). It includes:

  • not beating my body to death! Which means I will listen to my body earlier and not be so darn hard headed!
  • more rest. If have to choose between getting in workout or getting in to bed on time I will choose sleep. Since I struggle enough with that as it is.
  • get back to more variety in workouts. The tri thing works great for me as long as I am doing all 3. This fall when I started with running group, I needed the days in between runs just for recovery so I ended up dropping the bike and swim. When I do all 3, I hardly have any problems with injuries. So back to the threesome .

That's it for now. Back to work! Hugs all!

Oh... and I survived the 32 mile bike ride in freezing cold yesterday WOOT!!! Only 1 zmpher *sigh* scraped knee (luckily right on top of old knee bike scar, big bruise on hip and bruise on chest from handlebar ... me and starts and gravel .. not a good mix :o(. But was great to get back out there!

Comments to this post:

Oh MY

A threesome huh?  I say if you can handle it then go for it .  Glad you are back in the swing of things.

Please....

tell me what you consider to be "freezing"--surely your freezing and my freezing are different definitions. I cannot imagine riding a bike for that long under normal conditions! If I rode that distance in our freezing weather I would still be frozen on top of the bike...it would just tip over, with me on it when it came to a stop....somebody yell timber. LOL

Keep up the dedication, you are such an inspiration to me! Miss Ya!

welcome back!

Glad to see you blogging again!  Your plan sounds like a good one.  I think you're right about the threesome.  I noticed last week that doing the cycling class seemed to work out all the kinks that running had created the day before.

And thanks for your comment on my blog!
