Slowly going down

Yesterday I put on my favorite pair of capri jeans and they fell right off. I was so excited, but I sure loved those jeans.  I got on the scales this morning and it said 177.3  I was shocked in a way. Sure felt good though.

My daughter and I are doing the 90 minute Yogalates work out. It is a very good work out and It is great to have a buddy to work out with. She can only do it on Wednesday morning when her husband can stay at home with the kids. I am doing it 3 times a week and the pilates ball the other 3 days and take sunday off. My doctor said I have turned alot of the fat into muscle so judge by my size and the clothes I wear. I have cleaned out the closet and got rid of a huge lawn garbage bag of just pants. I am going to alter some of the things I just can't get rid of. I don't think I would be where I am if I wasn't moving my body. I am loosing slowly and I hope I keep it off, NO I AM KEEPING I OFF.

yea started moving again

Yea the scale started moving again. I have been stuck at 181 for 3 weeks. I have went fluctuated up to 183 and back down. but this morning the scale said 180. yea. I have been a little lazy on my exercising, but I have been helping my daughter get her house set up since the move and deep cleaning my house, you know all the stuff nobody sees but you know when it is clean. Like the back of the cabinets that no one ever sees, but it drives me crazy when it gets messed up, and under the ice box and washer and dryer. I have this fear that I will die and my MIL will have to clean under those items and I don't want her to see yuck under them. ( I know kind of crazy, but that is a stupid fear I have). So I think I have worked out harder cleaning than exercising. HaHa.
My husband took me out for Valentines day for the first time in 23 years. we don't celebrate this holiday usually, but he wanted to take me out to eat, which was nice but we went to the local truck stop cafe and I had a wonderful chicken fried steak and potatoes and boy was it good, I ordered the 1/2 order which was still big and ate it all. oh well it was a treat and I will just have to cut back on everything else until I feel I have worked it all off.
I just love having my grandkids across the street, I think that may be why I lost the pound, chasing the 3 year old. My grandaughter is 9 weeks old and doing wonderful now. She is the happiest baby I've ever seen. She makes me laugh everytime I see her. My grandma said laughing will add years to your life, and she was 93 when she died. She laughed daily.

I'm still here

I am still here and doing good. I have lost almost 17 lbs. and 17 inches since dec. 14. I am still doing the pilates ball now I have added yolaties ( yoga & pilates). I really like it. I am not really on a diet, I just have cut back on what I eat and try not to eat saturated fats. If I go on a strict diet I will fail, I have before. I think if I watch how much I eat and exercise everyday I will get It off. I know I feel so much better. I have much more energy and can play with my grandson in the floor. So I am doing fine and will get back to blogging.

pilates

Here is a link to the exercises that I am doing right now. These simple exercises have helped me loose 12.5 inches all over. I have lost 5" on my waist alone. I have had several people ask what I am doing, so here it is. You will love it they are not hard but have great  results. If you can't find the core ball with the attached bands, you can buy just the bands to attach to your ball , I saw some on ebay. I

I still love the pilates , I can't believe how much. I hate exercise and I can't wait to exercise in the morning and before I go to bed. There great.

I love Pilates

I can't believe it, I love Pilates. I did 2 hours today. I did the core ball first then I did pilates breathing exercises for the lower back and lumbar. I love it. I have not taken a pain pill since Christmas day. I usually take 2 to 3 darvon each day. I just can't tell you how good it feels not to take medicine just to feel normal. I believe I could do this the rest of my life. When I get up in the morning I can't bend over and touch my ankles after i do Pilates I can put my hands flat on the floor and not hurt. I have lost back to 189 again, I think I will start loosing again, but I am putting on muscle.  I put a pair of pants on last night that I couldn't even get up past my thighs a couple of weeks ago. So the pilates is working for me. Like I said before I love it. I look foreward to exercise. yea

Down inches

To date I have lost 9 pounds and 11.25 inches all over. I got a Pilates core ball and it really works all the muscles in the body without hurting, I can do 30 to 45 minutes and it just flies by and it is time to quit. I am doing the ball twice daily. I am working at my Moms house getting it ready to sell, I have been putting in around 4 to 6 hours painting and cleaning up. I hope to have the inside ready by Friday Jan. 5. I have a lot to paint outside. The trim on the house ,900 sq.f. shop building and a large storage building and well house. My SIL will help me since he is buying the house. I will have my grandkids across the street. I can't wait.  My husband has helped some but most of this has just been me. My Dad and Brother are conviently absent when I need help. I am just glad I have a very supportive Husband, and Kids. They are great, except they can eat all the junk because they don't have the weight issue that I do. Thank goodness it passed my girls by. they will be slim like my husbands side of the family. I take after my mom's side and my grandmother on my dads side was large and had diabetes and lost both legs and it eventually killed her. I need to get my cholestrol checked after the new year to see if the new diet and exercise has helped. I can't take any of the Lipids, they cause me too much muscle pain. So I take fish oil, and garlic. and try to watch what I take in. I am drinking only water. No soda reg. or diet.they make me retain water, and the salt makes my blood pressure go up. I don't mind it really, no that I have detoxed myself from it I don't miss it. I can tell you though, this is the first time I have actually exercised regularly when I diet and It does make a big difference. I haven't got on the gazelle since I have been working on the house, I am going up and down the 4 step ladder more than I can count. So I think I am getting the exercise for my heart I need here. Well got to go across the street now, have put it off long enough. We are pulling out the carpet today, my daughter wants to see the hard wood floors. Lots of work.  bye for now.

I gained

I gained almost 3 pounds during the Christmas holiday. Yuck. I didn't eat much but everything was fatning and loaded with sugar. I am a little disappointed in myself but won't let it get me down.I am sure i'm not the only one who gained, but it sure feels like it.
Had to put my car in the shop today, need a new water pump. On the upside, they gave us a loaded 2007 Tahoe to drive until it gets out.  My husband wants one now. But he is crazy if he thinks I'll give up my Cadillac. Hope it gets fixed soon. I don't want him to get to used to it.
Well guess better go for now, painted all day and I'm tired.

I decided I better walk this morning or I wouldn't do it all. So 1.12 miles in 20 minutes. My personal record. I feel great. now I will have the energy to work on the house. Having a kashi go lean bar for breakfast. I made oat meal but didn't want it. may eat a apple too. bye for now.

getting busy

This morning the scale was  nice to me again, even though I started yesterday. Almost 11 pounds. I should loose quite a bit soon, I am selling my parents house to my daughter and her Husband and their house just sold, so now I have to get busy. I am completely remodeling it. I thought I would have longer. But it is just across the street. So no long commute. So I will be away from the computer more than usual. So wish me luck, and I have to remind myself to eat. Not eating is not good. I get real busy and forget to eat.

Yesterday I ate more than I have been and actually lost weight. I was not eating enough food for the amount of exercise I have been doing. I want to be thin and healthy, not just thin.

Guess I  had better get ready to go to work. bye for now
