My Photos

Before After

Besmuccuduous!

Uggh, the things I had to squeeze my impatient self through as I attempted to share past photos with you all.

Oh dont get me wrong i know how to upload to ExtraPounds, but I figured it would be very impolite putting up many past photos of foods of which most probably not many of you want to see. Especially after I reflected and realized that maybe I am not getting the diet part of my plan down yet.

But so the journey goes- Tried VillagePhotos my all time favorite and preference to Flickr but alas their gallery html doesnt seem to be working on my MySpace page...btw, check it out and friend me, I need many friends on that.  Although dont expect me to reply to much, as i'm more on Second LIfe and IMVU and Yahoo Messenger *grin*

Then as I was for the fourth most probable time, and really this was trying, figuring-out-that-my-Blogger account- password-was-forgotten-but- the reminder-gets sent-to- an inaccessible email address-and-so-trying to sign up- led me in circles essentially-  ended up me brilliantly remembering taht there were a couple of scrabook-like blogging services that are fairly new that I wanted to try out, but postponed till I had this awesome avatar by VisaNova on IMVU. Otherwise having an account would have been useless, as I wouldnt be using it as much. I loooove taking virtual photos of my avatars in both worlds and having all the poses would be awesome as well. And scenery too, mind you...Second Life's awesome for that.

But it turns out as I find I like making up for the lack of moola to pay for custom CSS by turning this rather boring blog into a snazzy affair with pictures and vids,  I was left to choose between Scrabblog, Gloogster (more to my youthful taste than Scrapblog, and I'll still sign up for this as soon as I get said avatar from IMVU), and Photoblog .  Scrabblog and Gloogster is colorful and bright, so I quickly rejected Photoblog that seemed well too serious.  Gloogster I found doesnt allow for zoom and click so happily I trotted over and made my first album on Scrapblog, which I am finding is surprisingly flexible and I didnt have time to mess around with the features so I just threw together a quickie but I think i'll definitely have fun with this!  To see the promised pics of days past, click here .

May I point out that ranting about my photo problems is not as serious as my "getting lost in my own state" post that I was planning to post up yesterday, but saved you from it, because I was too tired. Two hours on I-9, Garden State Parkway, and 280 grr.

Moving on to more serious business, here is my lunch for today and my reflections on my diet. Straight of the bat I think I am not trying very carefully enough to monitor my diet, but its sooo fun doing the cooking the way I do, just a splash here and there, here and there. Today, because I rather didnt like to eat rice as its, well, boring- I like spices ya know- I once again pulled out my angelic pasta box and boiled up water. This time I just used plain pasta and just poured in olive oil till i felt it was enough, tossed in crunched basil leaves, and then the cooking wine I used yesterday until I felt it was enough, and I left it to and mix without the pasta for bit. Then I tossed the pasta in, and after it softened and cooked I tossed in more wine. Here's the result:

It was delicious, I was well pleased and I  paired it with baked chicken my Mom had marinated and asked me to bake yesterday. On top of it I had this great blackberry/cranberry juice. But that was it, really, I didnt feel like adding the leaves, i felt it would ruin the taste somehow. If my diet's going to work I am going to need to monitor what I cook too, and maybe find a way to measure precisely without putting out my fun. Does anyone have any ideas? Is there a cook's support group on ExtraPounds?

Anyways, I'm off ot recreate Jorge Cruise's diet trackers on my computer as its not convenient for me to photocopy ....similar but not the same.

TTYL, I'll let cha' know....
