Day 12

Starting weight 136.5 :o(((
 
I told you guys it is mostly water weight loss. Of course another reason is that I ate more than usual yesterday and didn't do any cardio, so we'll see if my weight is going to be lower tomorrow. Well, its Friday and yet another busy day on my calander! I started the day early (5:30am) with a 8K run with my friend Susan in our village. After sending the kids to school, I was off to Gold's gym to teach my spin calss at 8. It's almost noon and I already had breakfast and snack. I will Have lunch at about 2 I think. I will be going back to the gym for some weight training this afternoon and if I find some energy i will swim tonight. I'll be back!

Day 11

Today was my recovery day. Recovery day means staying home and resting. I didn't run, nor biked today but I did go to the gym for an hour of weight and total body workout in the afternoon. Staying home also means eating more!!!!!

Day 10

Starting weight:135lbs
Training hard and Anarestan's challange is really helping me with taking some pounds off. I was 134 lbs this morning after my workout, but knowing that some of it was simply the water loss, i will record my weight as 135lbs which means I have lost one more pound :o)
Today was a hard training day. I ran a 10k with friends starting at 5:15 Am (which I absolutely dislike since I am not a morning person). The 10k took me less than an hour so by 6:15 i was heading home. Then at 7:30 AM i met up with some of my grilfriends from Gold's gym for bike ride. We rode our bikes for an easy 30K since we had few people in the group that were novice. . After yesterday's all out ride I needed the easier pace so it was all good :o)
Now I am home, enjoying my Persian tea. I already had some fruits, a strawberry falvored yogurt mixed with some Granola and a banana.
 5PM:
I spent most of my day resting and reading. I finally left the house for some grocery shopping at 3. I am home now and need to help my kids with homework. Will come back later tonight with my lists of food and activities.
 
Breakfast: I/4 Trio bar, coffee, Banana, papaya
Snack:  Tea with dates, strawberry yogurt with a spoon of Granola, Gatorade
Lunch: 1 Pita, 1 grilled chicken breast, 1/2 slice of cheese, 10 Almonds
Snack: Guava, sunchips, Fiber crackers
Dinner: Chicken breast, rice, Cooked veggies, 2 small cucumbers
Snack: 1 Peach
 
Activities: 30k Bike ride, 10k Run

Day 9

Today I had to get rid of the banana bread at home since I was eating too much of it everyday. It's gone now and I should be able to save about 300 calories and lots of fat everyday :o)
My day started with a 35k ( hour and half) of bike ride with my Tri friends. Right after that I went to the country club pool and swam 40 laps (1000 meter). This was my first day of swim and I was happy with the result. My shoulders are a bit sore now, but other than that I feel great.
 
Now lets talk about what I ate today:
Breakfast: I/4 Trio bar, coffee, mango, papaya
Snack, 1 slice of banana bread, tea with dates, strawberry yogurt with a spoon of Granola
Lunch: 1 toast, 1 egg, 1 slice of cheese, 1/3 cup low fat cottage cheese, banana
Snack: 1 slice of banana bread, sunchips
Dinner: Chicken breast, rice
Snack: Guava
 
Activities: 35k Bike ride, 1k swim
 
Total calorie intake:  about 1500

Day 8

Starting weight 136lbs
Slowly, but surely I am losing some weight!!!!!! This morning I had my spin class first and then I had to teach a strength training class, so I was gone all morning. I got home after 11 and made myself a nice egg and cheese sandwich on wheat bread with some cabbage on the side to munch on. It was yummy :o)
Now I am getting myself some good Persian tea with dates while getting on facebook and surfing the net. Life can't be any better :o)
Breakfast: 1/4 Trio bar
Lunch: egg and cheese sandwich, vegetables, sunchips
Snack: tea with dates, Wheat crackers, strawberries, grapes, a slice of banana bread
Dinner: Fetuccine mixed with vegetable and creamy mushroom soup, a small breast of chicken
 
Activities: Spin, weight training, run

Day 7

Anothre crazy day! I ran a 15k with couple of friends this morning. After yeasterday's hike, i could definitely feel it in my quads!
Today I ate so many different things that makes it really hard to figure out my consumed calories. We were at a friend's house for dinner and that's why I enede up with drinking wine and eating ice ceam :o) and I enjoyed both of them very much!!!!!!
Breakfast: 1/4 Trio bar with coffee, 1 Mango
after my run:1 bottle of Gatorade
Snack: half an apple, Green tea with dates
Lunch: 2 toasts, 2 slices of cheese, 1 egg
Snack: 1 mango, a bag of sunchips
Dinner: Vegetables, potatoe salad, regular green salad with olive oil and lemon juice dressing, 2 glasses of wine
dessert: 1 scoop of Haagen daz ice cream
 
Total calorie intake: 1700
Total calorie burned:900

Day 6

Not much to report since I was out of town and didn't get to calculate my calories.
Activity: Hiking 2 1/2 hours
Food intake: about 2000 calories

Day 5

Weight: 137 lbs
Day 5 already!!!!!! It is around 11 in the morning and what a nice morning it is. Sun is shining in Manila(as usual) and I am sitting in my office with my AC on high! I am back from teaching my spin class. We did Endurance drills today. After the hard bike ride yesterday, I could definitely feel my hamstrings today.
OK, Lets talk about food! So far I've had breakfast and snack:
  • Breakfast: 1/3 of aTrio bar
  • Snack: 1/2 Guava, 1 banana, Green tea with 2 dates
I am going back to the gym for weight training this afternoon. I will report my activity and what I ate for lunch after that :o)
  • Lunch: Apple yogurt with frosted mini wheats,1 bag of multigrain Sunchips
  • snack: Raisins, Papaya
  • Dinner: 1/2 cup Rice, 2 boiled eggs, shrimp
  • Activities: Spin cycling, Body pump, run

 will be out on a hiking trip all day tomorrow. Will report back on Sunday.

Day 4

I started my day with a 10k run and then a group bike ride of 24k. It is only 11 am and I've only had breakfast and snack so far. I will be back later to write my list
 
I was out for dinner with bunch of friends and didn't eat that healthy :o(

Day 3

Today is my first day of joining the 25 day competition called "Competing Healthy For Health" with my Anarestan's friends. Most of my friends are already on their third day, but I am sure I can catch up :o)
