Today I decided to do my 10k run under the sun since on the day of the race I will be running at about 10 or 11 o'clock, assuming that the race starts at 5AM. So i had a big breakfast at 9 and then started my run at 11. Well, it was 87 degree out there and I was right under the sun :o) I started pretty slow and then found a nice easy pace to stay with. With my ankle injury I can't go fast anyways so it worked out just fine. After the run I went for my 2k swim. The water was just great and I swam for about an hour. Now I am having my coffee with a cookie and celebrating the fact that I am healthy and can do this!
