Day Three 8/26/09
Day 3
Wednesdays are my team training days so the day starts early for me. We biked 35k this morning mostly with an easy pace. After that coach and I worked on my running form and speed. For speed work I had to run 1 minute fast (12k pace) and then 1 minute slow. The first few weren't that bad, but towards the end I had to push myself to keep the speed. She wants me to do this drill 2 to 3 times a week. This is what I get for missing 2 months of training with them.
Yesterday I ended up with more calories than what I wanted to. We had a friend over for dinner and I made a spicy shrimp pasta dish which turned out pretty good. I ended up with 1600 calories total at the end :o(
Today so far has been great except we have a team meeting tonight at the Japanese restaurant which means I really have to watch what I eat to keep the cals under bontrol.
