OMG
You don't know how many miles you ran after a two hour run?! Whoa! I don't think I could handle that. LOL
I have GPS, HR monitor, timing watch. If you add my hydration belt I look like the Unibomber running dozn the trail. I record every ridiculous number in various forms. I guess I am one of those geeky runners that gets hung up on the numbers.
I have tricky knees and I have to watch my number of run days. 9 days before a half I would probably only run half to two thirds my normal weekly milage over about four days. Your base fitness is there. You won't build any fitness or endurance over the next week. (Source: Team in Training coach)
Caveat: Take my suggestions with a grain of salt. I am a new runner. I have been running consistently now for only a year (inconsistently for 2 1/2). I have done a three olympic tris, one marathon (hurt my knee, had to run/walk), and one half marathon. I am training for my second marathon on March 2.
Good luck to you! I will be looking forward to your race report. Which one are you doing?
