Before After

OMG! Finally broke through the 200 barrier!

OMG! OMG! OMG!
It has been SOOOO long since I've been under 200.  It is a bitter sweet day.
I'm thrilled, and angry that I couldn't have been here long ago. I've tried so hard, so many times.... and NOW I'VE DONE IT!

So, let's see.  What have I done differently?

Meds and Vitamin D and now tanning, too.  (I doubt that this has much to do with it, but hey, I'll count it.)

Yesterday I found out that I'm Vitamin D deficient (not surprising in Michigan).
At lunch I popped in a 1000 IU pill.  After work I joined a local tanning company (got a free week to check them out) and layed in the bed for 6 minutes.  And last night I ran 3 miles (upping the weeknight miles).

I still eat every three hours, watch my carbs, and drink lots of water (or green tea).

Well, here's to another day.  Thanks for listening and sharing in my excitement!

Great feelings

I recently had that milestone as well and hope to never see it again. Now I know to be appreciative everytime I get into a new bracket (190's, 180's, etc.) This keeps me more motivated than looking at my goal weight cause that seems like such a long stretch!!
That's okay...one day at a time :) Glad you found out about the vitamin d deficientcy. This is more important than most people think. I live in Florida and we really don't have a winter, so not much of that around, but I have a step daughter who lives in northern minnesota and they have serious issues with it and it can apparently lead to some depression issues. Thank God you run or you may experience some of those yucky symptoms! Good luck and I'll be cheering for you!
