One week down. 11 to go. Today was my first official weigh-in whilst being on the CSIRO diet and....

******8*drumroll********

I'm down a WHOPPING 4kilos!!!!  (8.8 pound!!!) I never would have believed it. I know they say that any massive change in diet/exercise/lifestyle will produce a ridiculous amount of weight loss in the first week, but YAYAYAYAYAYAYAYAY!!!

For the first time in yonkies I can actually see collarbones!! I have collarbones!! For so many years I thought i'd been born without them, but nup! they're starting to shine on through  so STOKED!!!

Now I know I won't lose that amount of weight this week, but i'm prepared to slog it out and stay motivated. I'm back in the 70's and I don't wanna see the 80's for as long as I live!! Well, at least till i've got a bun in the oven or something...

There aren't many plus sides to pregnancy - so I am told. So I look forward to gorging out, if I do ever become 'with child'.

How the heck did I get onto me being pregnant.... Getting so totally of course here...

Anywayz, I plan to come back at cha real soon with another update with me sounding just as estatic if not more so! I hope to crack into the 78 kilo region by this Sunday. Cricky, if it happens i'm gonna have a smile so wide, it'll rival Mr. Ed's.

Hey, are you doing WW?  If yes, you want to join our Holiday activity challenge?  Here's the deets:

  • 6 week challenge, right smack dab in the middle of the holidays! Start on Mon, 11/20 to Sun, 12/31.
  • Send me your weekly points every Sunday, and I will post up the totals on Monday
  • Try to achieve the following AP range per week/overall (based on # of points you currently consume):
    • 20 - 25 pts/day: 95 - 105 APs total, 15 - 17.5 APs per week
    • 26 - 30 pts/day: 145 - 160 APs total, 24 - 26.5 APs per week
    • 31 - 34 pts/day: 180 - 210 APs total, 30 - 35 APs per week
  • The APs are flexible, which means that if you don't hit your target each week, you can make them up the next, as long as you get them all in the end!
  • For extra motivation, we'll buddy up with one or two others with a shared AP goal per week.  If you already have a buddy, let me know - otherwise, we'll just assign randomly.
