Before After

I must say, I'm quite stunned.

158.7 pounds. I started at around 170 so that's 12 pounds I've lost! I know I'm not losing as fast as I'd like to, or as fast as I'm supposed to, but I'm losing the weight and I've never felt so good! Yeah, I still have issues with my appearance, but I'm actually more confident now than I was after I broke up with my ex. I've been on two dates and I've got another one to go to! Heh... so moving on and moving forward. =)

Anyhoo, the reason I'm stunned is just simply... I haven't been anywhere below 160 pounds since I was 16. I know it's only 158, but those 2 pounds mean a lot coz, finally, my weight has budged after 5 years!

It just makes me wonder how much more weight I would have lost if I actually made more of an effort to eat healthy. I know I'm getting more active physically, so that's definitely helping. I just really need to motivate myself to eat right. Damn my laziness!

welcome back and congrats!

Glad to see you back... and HUGE congrats on your loss.  12 lbs is nothing to sneeze at; besides, I know exactly how you feel.  Once I passed 126, I felt so much more confident that I would really lose the weight.  I've been fluctuating between 127 and 132 for 3 years now, and it was driving me INSANE.  They don't call milestones important for nothing.

WTG on the dates.  I hope that you are feeling better after the breakup.  As my friend says, sometimes you need to break up to break through.  I know it sounds cheesy, but its been surprisingly true in my life.

Anyhow, keep up the great work.  I'm confident that you'll continue towards you goal now that you've had such a great victory!

Congrats!

Congratulations on the weightloss!  You're right, who cares how fast it's coming off, the point is, it's coming off!  Just remember, the slower you lose, the less likely you are to regain it!  :-)
