Hmm, not too sure how well I'm doing to be honest. I just feel hungry a lot more often. Is that normal? I've been eating more fruits and veggies, whereas I just didn't at all before. Does that have something to do with it? It just feels like I'm constantly eating and drinking now. At least I eat fruit and drink plenty of water whenever I feel hungry after a meal. Maybe my stomach is just trying to get used to the new diet.
As for exercise... I hardly did any today, probably walked like 20 minutes. Does 1 hour of dancing at a club the previous night make up for that? Heh... I blew it by drinking two Quick F***s (shots of Midori topped with Baileys) anyway.
What's with the "Drink at least 8 glasses of water a day" rule? Honestly, how do they expect you to stick with that, especially if you're working? I've been trying really hard to drink as much as I can (I managed to do 6 yesterday), and I just constantly run in and out of the bathroom! I mean, what if you're working? Especially if you work at a really busy environment? How can you pull that one off? Or maybe I've just got a really weak bladder. Hehe.
I've been writing down what I eat for the past three days. I think it's starting to look better as each day passes. I still can't kick my sweet tooth, but I'm definitely eating less sweets and junk food than I used to. So here's what I had for today:
Breakfast: 1 bowl Special K Apricot & Peach cereal Lunch: 1 red apple, 1 iced caramel macchiatto (venti... oops! Could not resist!) Snack: 2 mini chocolate biscuits Dinner: 1 cup rice topped with chicken tikka misala and a bit of plain yoghurt Water: 3-4 glasses
Not too bad, I think! Well, as compared to how I normally used to eat.
So how often do you guys weigh/measure yourselves? I'm going to try to keep it off as long as I can, just in case the results for me aren't that quick. I tend to get discouraged quite easily.

Hey there
I think you look sexy already!
I don't think you're eating enough which is why you could be way too hungry - the more weight you need to loose the more careful you have to be. I'd say eat more fruit and veg and complex carbs and it might stop you from craving sugar and ... buying a venti iced caramel macchiatto ;)
Basically don't try to cut down food drastically at the begining (I'm talking about 3 years of crash dieting then putting the weight back on for me), just replace junk food with good food.
Do you eat a good and big breakfast? That can make all the difference about how you'll be feeling for the rest of the day. I've noticed that the less I eat for breakfast the more hungry I feel during the day. Other thing to remember is that you should eat something in every 2 or 3 hours (something healthy, naturally). So remember to eat veggies and fruits (sounds like you're already doing that though).
Drinking water can be a pain in the ass, I agree. :D Whenever I'm at school/working I can't really drink water because just like you, I'd need to run in and out of the bathroom all the time. So I try to drink at least something throughout the daytime and then more during the evenings.
About the weighting... You shouldn't weight yourself more than maybe once a week (a recommendation) and when you do that try to do it the same time of the day each time. The morning weight is usually the "real weight", which is why I always weight myself right after I wake up (once per week). Of course I sometimes weight myself more often than that but I'm trying to do it only quite rarely because the weight can really go up and down depending on the day or time of the day so when I measure it once a week I get more real and realistic results.
You can do it Toni girl! I always find I'm a little more hungry once I start my diet because baiscally you not allowing yourself to eat whatever, it's normal!
