Just when I was on a roll
I strained my back this weekend, and the PT told me I can't run for at least two weeks. I'm so bummed! I was going to run a race on the fourth of July. 
I'm really hoping I can maintain my weight loss trajectory... I don't have the greatest willpower when it comes to food.

Ran on my own
I ran my little three miles today. I played the same song over and over again and it almost put me into a trance! I cheated and am down another pound, and hope it stays off til my official weigh-in on Monday.

Errands today
I didn't get to go to the gym because I had a bunch of errands to run. It's the sucky thing about working out during lunchtime... it's hard to find a time to do my errands!
I weighed one pound less at my weigh-in yesterday. I am going to start weighing at the gym, because my scale seems wonky.
I think I'm going to write a little AC article on little calorie-cutting weight loss tips. I keep thinking of little things I've been doing to cut calories and think I can make an article out of it.

Gosh it's hot
I ran three miles today out in the 86 degree heat. The humidity was 33%, which doesn't sound like a lot, but it was really warm. I'm sore from lifting yesterday, which is a good feeling.
I am craving junk food so badly this afternoon! All I want to do is go buy a whole bag of chips and eat them while drinking a cold beer. But all I have is my water and a lean cuisine.

another week
I was so upset yesterday at my non-weight loss that I couldn't even come here and post anything. Friday I did a cheater weigh and was down three pounds from Monday. Yesterday I weighed one more pound than I had the previous Monday. Four more than Friday. Surely that can't be right! 
But... Saturday I ran for 35 minutes straight and yesterday I went for half an hour. I am going to lift weights and run a bit today at the gym and keep on eating my Lean Cuisines (which are pretty tasty, incidentally).
So, I'm going to climb right back on that horse (instead of eating like one).

Sweating, pumping, peeing, and crying helps
I ran at lunchtime and it was way too hot to be outside. My legs felt heavy, probably from lifting yesterday. I got chills when I finished- which is never a good sign.
Afterwards I weighed myself and weighed 157, which is 3 pounds less than Monday. I figure I'm pretty dehydrated with all the water loss I've entertained in the last 24 hours. I've been drinking water all afternoon and am starting to feel better.
Odwalla bars rock my face off!

5 June
I went to the gym today and rode a spin bike for 15 minutes or so, then lifted weights for 20 minutes. I lifted a little heavier today, so that should be good. I'm meeting with Tom on Thursday morning to see his new facility.. perhaps he will have some tips for me.
I'm not having a good day. I've been crying all morning and have been up since 1:30. I wish taking care of Asher were easier, and that he seemed like a happier baby. Some days it's just harder than others.

Another Monday
I weighed in this morning and lost another 2 pounds! I was certain that this weekend's indiscretions would have done me in. I ran 2.5 miles on Saturday and just now got back from a run that had to be three miles. I took my GPS, but for the first 2/3 of the run it said I ran .23 miles, then the last 1/3 it said I ran 1243. So... I think it's not right. I did run 32 minutes and walked an additional 6.
Now I'm at my desk sweaty (which is why I hate afternoon workouts). I'm going to cool down a bit, change my stinky running clothes and eat my lean cuisine.

Happy June
I didn't have a very good 'food day' yesterday. I didn't have time for breakfast so got an egg mcmuffin. I forgot I had a lunch meeting with Ed, and we went to Sophia's and I got french fries with my wrap... then we had the work picnic where I ate a hot dog. Ugh... I don't think I ate that many calories all week.
Today's been a little better. I'm going to pick up a pizza though... Friday's are pizza party nights with the family. I'll just have a piece or two though.
I lifted with my arms today at the gym. I tried hard to get a good workout in. I plan on running tomorrow morning. The weather is perfect for it.

Great morning
I woke up at 4:45 or so and nursed Asher. He went back to sleep so I sneaked out and went for a run. I put my tunes on and ran for 26 minutes. 26! That's twice as far as I've run to date! I'm so excited!
I've had a busy morning, but plan on going to the gym today. I went yesterday and became an official member. I walked for a bit on the tread climber and then lifted weights. My friend Doug was there, showing me what to do... I didn't have the heart to tell him how many hours I'd spent lifting weights with Tom. :)
I'm already anxious for Monday's weigh-in!
