THE FOOD PYRAMID!!
So i just went on to Mypyramid.com and I did my assessment. So this is what they said. I should have 3.5 ounces of whole grains per day.
Per week I need 3 cups of dark green veggies, 2 cups of orange veggies, 3 cups of dry beans and peas, 6 cups!! of starchy veggies, and 7 cups of other veggies. Oh and I am only allowed 6 teaspoons of oils a day. So so far that's what i ahve found out. Mypryamid really is a good resource. I need to come to the realization that this weight is not going to come off over night. IT"S OK TO LOSE ONLY 0.5 a week! It will come off eventually. I just need to be patient and EAT BETTER! Oh and also I've heard that calorie counter.com is a great site!
