Who Knew??

Who knew that pineapple and grapes make a delicious dessert??!!

I've been doin' this thing, y'all. And I knew it would feel this good...why I deprive myself of being in control is still not something I understand, but I'm hoping that this Transformation Challenge will help bring those things to light. For now, all I know is that I'm feeling sooooooo much better than I have in months! I'm so thankful for that!

Don't get me wrong, I still have a bit of a cheatin' heart....I finally finished packing up my classroom and got done with a 3-day (last minute's notice) training and I felt I needed a reward. It's over a week since school's been out and I've still been working!! That never happens! But anyway, the cheatin' heart thing...I wanted pizza and by golly I was gonna have me some pizza...then I thought about how I would feel if I had that pizza. Not during, because during, I'm just in Heaven! But after...after more than half of the pie is gone...that's not a good feeling and I didn't want to undo what I'd done already this week.

So, instead of pizza, I went and bought a push mower so that I could mow the lawn! And after I assembled the thing I put on my HRM and got to work! And as silly as it seems, I had FUN and burned 273 calories! NO PIZZA! I've never mowed a lawn before. Seriously.

Then I figured, well, that's enough for today BUT I started my ChaLEAN Extreme Rotation again and I didn't want to miss a workout so I put in those Burn Intervals and did 'em and burned another 500!!! Whew! NO PIZZA!!

So, I'm thanking God for small victories. Instead, I had a nice healthy dinner with plenty of veggies and fruit for dessert. FRUIT!!! Who knew??!!

that's great!

Wow you really turned that craving around. There's always lean cuisine or smart ones pizzas.  And ww penne with tomato sauce, put all that together and the craving may be solved.

I'll definitely try to pineapple and grapes~ thanks for the tip!

.

WOW!  Awesome for you!  Yay!

Keep up the great efforts!  Have a great weekend.

.......

Look at you go!  I'm thinking that's a HUGE victory.  Not a small one.  I am so amazed at how different this post sounds than the previous ones.  We are on our way, together!

HEY!!

Just yesterday I was doing some research and have been seriously contemplating doing the Transformation challenge!! How odd is that....great minds think alike!

Take care and keep up the hard work!!  You can do anything!

Yay

Those are some BIG VICTORIES!

Chalean Extreme is no joke either.  I am enjoying those workouts too.

You sound really good, and that makes me happy.

Have a great weekend.
Love, Alicia

:)

It is so easy to view fruit as dessert in the summer months!! I adore pineapple especially when it is super juicy!!

yum

grapes and pineapple, yum!  Big steps when you bought that mower.  I'm still trying to muster up the confidence to buy one.  I've only 'kinda' mowed the lawn one time, but I'm pretty sure if someone showed me what to do, I'd actually like doing it.  I'm thinking of buying an electric mower.  Did you get a gas mower?  I'd be interested to hear if it was difficult to figure out.  lol.

...

Thanks for popping in.  As far as the planning.  Something that helps me is to have the same snacks each day.  I'm fine with eating the same thing over and over for snacks and it makes planning much easier.  Here's kind of how my day goes...
M1: LightRight shake  (I actually make this in the blender with either water, milk, or soy milk, 1 packet of light right protein powder and fruit)  ORRRR  you can just mix a packet of the protein powder with water in a Blender Bottle.
M2: Turkey Bacon Melt from EFL cookbook. (I can get you the recipe if you want)
M3: Tuna sandwich or cottage cheese & cantaloupe
M4: Apple & string cheese
M5: Dinner...I vary this from night to night and have had all my dinners from the EFL book so far
M6: Dessert... like chocolate mousse from the EFL book

Make it simple.  Don't have it take up a lot of time to plan it.  You can do this!!!  I want you to succeed!  We can do this together!  I'd love to see you get more active on t.com so I think that's a great goal.  It helps!

Thanks!

It's been about a year since you've posted this (remember me? Glory!?) and  I was thinking of you and thought I'd see if you were still out there and hanging in there.

Hopefully this will find you in good spirits!
