no, i havent given up ! healthy eating and lost 2.5lbs last week.

really happy, and not too hungry !

GOOD MORNING - HERE IS THE NEWS.

from tomorrow i am ******officially pointing************.

i have to.

i cannot do this on my terms, i have to stick to something that works.

i am fooling myself that i am under control but i am heading for another week without a loss.

so, planned out 7 days of menus - figured in a takeaway and wine, and i am going to stick to it.

i have 4 months to until my main holiday, and i want to be 12.7 by then.

those damn scales are annoying the hell out of me ! still say 14, whereas they always say either 13.13 or 12.....i have been good 4 days now - salad for lunch, egg on toast for brekie, protein and veg for tea, and oatcakes as afternoon snack - why ?

i am still ok, i fleeting-ly get bothered by the scales, but i know i am on the right track and things are going ok - eating healthily and normally.

i wish i had the answers though !

didnt i do well ? 2.5lbs on. that makes me half a pound lost in total this year.

well, as said last night, i AM going to get a grip now and just go on about my day to day as normal - no diet - and remember the rules.

b - egg on toast

l - chicken salad, yog

d - prawn fishcakes and stir fried veg. yog.

fruit if needed and at least 1.5 litres of water.

quite funny, but what i said yesterday about not having lots of carbs is exactly how j has lost nearly 4.5 stone this year. saw her fat ski stuff last night - and was thinking of my wetsuit next year !

will report all my small steps today x

crap week.

b - egg on toast

l - prawn salad and yoghurt

d - 5 bean chilli.

no snacks, 1 litre of water, bike to work and back.

i have stopped beating myself up.

i have rules for life now.

1) carbs in the morning and none at dinner or night if possible. pasta meal once a week, potato meal once a week.

2) water...water...water....will drink more.

3) move your fat ass. bike or walk to work, go to town after school if necessary. saves me sitting on the pc all afternoon. also, those furry four-legged things need to get in the fields.

4) stop bleating and moaning about why it doesnt happen and start getting on with it. for me, myself and just i. think about all those nice fat face clothes, the ones that look nice on slim people.

5) there is no "on" or "off". there is just normal. there is no off the wagon, where you think you will eat everything before tomorrow, where you are back on.

6) when you want to pig, think about how you feel when you do and how shit it makes you feel when you eat for the sake of eating. congratulate yourself on the small resistances, or the "do's" - positive thinking and all that.

get over yourself.

havent posted on here - but certainly havent given up !

lost 1.5lbs at weigh in, i was so chuffed. upped the exercise, did a lot on my xtrainer and walked and i do think it is the answer.

been ok with my food and wine, had 2 bottles of wine over the week and the only really rubbish night was friday when i had fish and chips ! didnt even finish them all - was stuffed.

feel as if i have turned a corner, realised that 3 meals a day, usually starting with egg on toast sets me on the right path and i dont overeat then.

i want to lose more than a pound next week so i can be back in the 13's.

had quite a stressful day yesterday, and didnt feel well.

gave in and had fish and chips.

today, been on my xtrainer, had egg on toast for breakfast and a soup and sandwich for lunch.

prawn cocktail and pasta for tea.
