Alot on my mind

Its almost here, I can feel it the weekend is almost here!!! Not that I have anything planned but who doesn't love the weekend!

Today was a very productive day, went with my sister to run a couple of errands and while out and about I came across some items that caught my attention one of them really got my attention and im still debating whether or not I should invest in it.

While at Linens' n Things I saw that you can test out some workout machines before you buy them. I stumbled on the Fitness Questt Ab Lounge 2

So I thought what the heck give it a try. Well WOZZERS! I thought I was going to do a back flip, land on my head and twist something. I almost died, okay a little over reacting but I really did think I was going to! I do have to say its a really good lounge chair, lol.

However while at Target I ran into this really cool water bottle and best thing is its only 24.99. Next question, is do I need it?

It measures how much water you intake throughout the whole day. Only bad thing is if you are to go out to eat or something and you forget your water bottle you kinda lose track. Im debating and if anyone out there has one. Do you like it?

The last couple of nights I have had the worst headaches and my jaw hurts. Not sure what the two have linked but I'm assuming its something. I just hope it doesnt cost me and arm and a leg and that it goes away soon!

I plan on running today, and eating has been on track. Did have a small kids frosty at Wendys, but I didn't eat the leftover bites of my sisters daughters kids meal!

My New Passion...

 

Is running!!!! I just love it!!! When I run I feel as if im running away from all my problems and Im just leaving them in the dust! Im slowly learning that running is not an easy task and I have to learn to take small baby steps.

Today I went to lunch at a buffet and thankfully I made it out okay! I had really small portions and im happy to say that things are looking up!

Its been three weeks since I touched a Diet Coke!

Its been a week since I started eating healthier and exercising! I can do this!!!!

Oh My goodness!!!

Yeah, its that time again! I keep seeing signs everywhere to buy girl scout cookies, and as much as I want to just buy ten boxes of Thin Mints I have to hold myself inside this year. I love them but everytime I say I will give them away I end up eating them somehow they come back to me. Okay maybe just one box!  

I finally got my computer in!! I have waited and waited and waited for Dell to send in my new computer! I got it today and all day I have been setting it up because God knows im not good when it comes to technology, but something tells me im doing something right since im on EP posting a new blog! Lol

So its been a week since I have been eating healthier and my detox. Im feeling like a new person and let me tell you I feel alot better! I have been exercising everyday and thats a huge plus for me! Im so excited because my two year weight loss anniversary is in a couple of weeks and I want to look smashing! Teehehe

Took some pictures last night of front and side views, for some reason my camera is not taking really good pics so Im going to have to live with what I have I just want to see my progress!

Alrighty! Off to run some errands and do some homework and I have to figure out what im eating for dinner!

 

 

Cleaning, Organizing and Relaxing....

I plan on cleaning today!!! All day long until the hurricane that came through my house is gone and my place looks decent and organized! Im tired of going through piles of papers and crap and im just tired of look at a mess! I know once its all cleaned I will feel less stressed and more acchomplished!

Other than cleaning I plan on taking my free day from exercise today. Im thinking though I could go on a nice long walk with my dog and we could both use the exercise!

Eating has been awesome!!! Went to applebees last night and I only had a shooter! Its a little cup filled with yummy goodness and thankfully I didnt dig into my sisters potato skins and wings! PHEW! One down many more to come! Lol

Im alive!

Yes im still here and thankfully im back at home! San Fran was nice had a couple of family issues and because of that I spent most of my time figuring out how to help and what to do, thankfully everything seems to go well so I hear and I left San Fran on Tuesday just in time to start school on Wednesday! Boy am I pooped!

So on Tuesday I started a new detox program and im on it for 15 days, its herbal and what is supposed to do is clean my body of all the daily toxins and I feel as a way of giving me that extra push I need to start out really fresh. My eating has been awesome!!! I even worked out yesturday and the day before since getting back into town. I also invested in the Nike and im glad to say I love it, well I have only used it once so I have nothing bad to say about it yet, lol.

Im so excited that Im finally on track with everything and I feel alot healthier with this detox program!!! I end on the 29th and if I keep on going on this route im taking and eating right im going to finally break the barrier that has been building!

My goals I plan on doing for my two year weight loss anniversary!

  • eat healthier
  • eat out no more than two times a week
  • exercise five times a week

I plan on giving myself a reward after losing ten pounds, and that is a nice and relaxing day at the spa!

Alrighty im off like a jet! I will drop in on all of you!

Banish that frown!

HAHA thats how I felt this morning!!! Woke up early feeling great about going on my morning walk/jog and I look in the mirror while getting ready and BAM I feel fat!! I was disgusted with myself. I sat there looking at every flaw I had and then I stood up and got disgusted for letting myself put me down. Im blaming TOM for me feeling like this. My emotions have been up and down. Just get it over with and come on in!!!! Lol So next time you look at the mirror don't say anything bad but think positive and be proud that your changing yourself!

I have so much to do before I leave...im a last minute packer for sure. Bad thing is I always forget something and I end up having to buy it up there. Im super excited about leaving and enjoying myself up in San Fran! Maybe me and Shelley will have lunch!!!! Gotta ask her first!

On my walk this morning I noticed that after not exercising and not eating right for a couple of months it really took a tole on me! I have to start over again from nothing. Im not too upset because I love starting new but i wish I didn't let myself get this far. So far I have been exercising and eating right. Last night I only ate half of my Dairy Queen Blizzard! WOOHOO!!!! I have to take small tiny steps and I will get to my goal!

Going to lunch with my sister and then shopping! Gotta get going! Have an awesome Thursday!!!!!

P.S. Anyone know if I buy the Gold Membership will all my photos I had show up again??

E: 40 Min walk/jog

I wanna run baby

 

This morning I went on an hour and a half walk down the Rillato River Walk. This was my first time on this trail and I fell in love with it!! I have a feeling this is going to be my new training tool to get my to start running. I really want to start running again and what a better way than on this path. It will get me outdoors and not so bored like I get with the treadmill AKA DREADMILL!!!

However, in order for me to run I need shoes to run in....wouldnt that be nice to have comfy shoes that dont give you blisters on y our feet, and everytime you walk you have to waddle like a penguin. Well I guess thats what I get for leaving my shoes at my parents and having to resort to my old, shoes that are way to small. Those are going out!

So along with needing new running shoes I was looking at the Nike iPod. I could be rockin and running! I have to think about it because im not sure how much the Nike shoes cost, I will have to find out. I already have the iPod so thankfully I dont have to buy that! I have to really think if I need it because I have other costs to worry about like BILLS!

Eating has been good, better than before. Of course I have some temptations thrown at me and all I can do is try my hardest to push them and get over it.

One thing I learn every single day is im only human and that I make mistakes and I should be happy im healthy and trying my hardest to make a change. I should be happy for how far I have come!!

Onto other news, this weekend I fly to San Fransico for a mini vacation!

Im super excited!!! I need some time away and what a better way than in the amazing city!

One week!!!!

Im happy to say that is been a week since I had a diet coke! Yeah a week is a huge thing for me. I went cold turkey and said no more! I started drinking the darn think back in december and it was getting out of control. I had them all the time! First thing in the morning and so on throughout the whole day. Im was starting to get bad headaches from not drinking so many and then I decided to quit all for all and take the headaches that come along with it.  So when I was looking around I found this video on abc.com and I think its a really good video! Made my eyes open!!! Diet coke addiction video

Im finally back home in Tucson! Glad to be home again. Its amazing how much you miss your bed and place after being away from it for a couple weeks!

Eating has been good! Went to a wedding this weekend and im glad to say that I was able to stop myself when I saw myself going into a binge of food. Thankfully I got away with eating five mini cookies my grandma baked! So far this week has been awesome and im super excited to get my butt moving in action. Im hoping to lose some of this funky weight before my "Two year weight loss".

Goal for this week: Exercise everyday, no excuses!

Remember don't give up!!!

If only that was true, then I would be eating salads off the hook! Lol

Why is it that gaining weight is so much easier than losing weight? Beats me, but I wish I knew the real reason! Of course eating is easier than blowing off those wonderful temptations that hit us every single day. When you start back on your wonderful gross habits of eating whatever the hell you please you start to wonder if you should be admitted into a clinic for your major addiction and pray that there is a simple pill that can cure everything and make you happy and not think about all the wonderful, yummy food. HAHA well thats not the case here. There is no magic pill to say "Alexia, stop eating for petes sake!" Or "If you eat that french fry your going to see your grave." Nah we have to work extra hard for our brain to tell us if we eat that were going to see it later on maybe on our right hip or on the back of our rear. Oh and why is it that I blame everything but myself for my bad eating! Oh lets just blame the holidays, or family! Its my own fault who got me here in the first place and frankly I have to get myself out. I feel alone in this race, but I read and I ponder and im not the only one out there dealing with this. Im blaming no one but myself and everyday all I can do is try harder and harder to not fall knee deep into those temptations that hit me all the time and instead stand tall and say "no thanks".

This past week I have been eating a whole lot better than the weeks prior. Of course I have had many struggles to overcome and thankfully with every bump along the way I push ten times harder. No one told my maintaining would be easy but no one said it had to be hard. Im  going to do this and im so excited! Im happy that I can see im not perfect, that no one is perfect. It took me gaining weight to realize that I cant let food take over me it let me understand that I can still live life go out and enjoy life without restricting my life of all the wonderful food. I have to control my portions!!! Its all about portion control.

So ladies reach your hands up in the air and lets all say this "I can do it!!!" Because guess what we can do it and the only person stopping us is well US!!!!

Good Morning!

Eh so im not too creative with the Title for my entries but thats okay. I have been eating well for the past couple of days! I was getting to my breaking point of getting back into my old eating habits. Thankfully the holidays are over and I can get back on track with my eating and exercising. Im currently visiting my parents in Taos, NM. Very beautiful up here, there is alot of snow and frankly im still not used to the fact that I have to bundle up layers and layers or my tush will freeze. Not to mention I have become very aware of ice because long and behold I have slipped too many times, and im tired of falling down!

This is a picture before we went skining. Which for me was a first! I had lots of fun and boy was it cold!!!It was lots of fun. Other than that I have been having fun and well trying to relax. Its really hard when you have your sisters kids screaming at their throats and fighting for every single thing, but other than that its nice to get away.

My goals for this month are to get back into eating healthier and to try and eat out less. Yes I know its hard to give up eating out but hopefully I can cut down as much as I can. It will be good on my waist and wallet!  I go back home on Sunday and on Monday morning im going to join Gold's Gym!Im super excited!!! Cant wait to get back into a gym and start new and fresh. Im really excited about their body pump classes!

Okay before I make this a novel, I better get going. Im going to exercise on my parents stairs. Hopefully I can get a good thirty minute work out going up and down, lol.

Wednesday goal: To not eat what the kids dont finish!!
