This past weekend was so nice and relaxing, a much needed thing. My weekend was spent with my sister's family and we had so many plans to do and places to go. I love keeping busy.
On Saturday we went to see my sister's kids compete in Odyessy of the Mind. It was fun and intresting to see a bunch of 2nd graders working out as a team and coming up with ideas and answers.
On Sunday we went on a nice, relaxing hike! First time!!!!!
It was so beautiful and the weather, I can't complain!!! The weather was just perfect! I didn't even burn, so that means I lathered quite enough. The hike total was 5.6 miles!!!!!! Not once did I complain, I just worried I was going to fall and kill myself, lol. At the end of the hike are these beauitiful pools of water, flowing around.
Oh I just sat down and soaked my feet into the cold water and enjoyed the sun hitting me and it was just a nice time to think about everything away from the busy life-style were always living. We got back and my feet were in pain actually I believe they had a heartbeat for a couple of hours. I will be doing that hike again!
So recap of the past week,

Exercise was awesome!!

WOW
Those pictures look like something out of a magazine! WOW, what a beautiful hike!!! Am glad you had a great time away from your busy schedule, and I'm glad you had such an AWESOME week. You should be feeling good, you are doing great!!!
Keep up the good work. Hiking sounds like fun to me, but for some reason when I picture it in my head, I imagine been dusty and hot. But your description of it doesn't sound to bad at all!
I was thinking about you today, about how fast you're running, girl, you are a natural runner, I wish I had that speed! Can't wait to hear more about your running!
These pictures are really nice. I think you did a great job to hike so far and I bet it didn't even seem that far because you were so busy taking in the beautiful scenery.
Hope you had/are having a great time in San Fran. Your hike pictures are amazing. It's funny how different the desert in AZ looks from the desert here in NM. I guess elevation can do that -- even your cacti look different from ours! I love hiking and I'm glad to hear you had such a good time :-) Take care!
Your pics are amazing! It seems as if you had lots of fun on your hike. 5.6 miles is pretty impressive, I remember doing an uphill hike of 2.6 miles and I almost died!
You are beautiful, you always have been an inspiration, so whenever I feel like I'm never gonna make it to goal I go and visit the blogs of all the people who have already done that and have actually staying on EP and not just disappeared into the masses. Thanks for still being here for the rest of us who are still trying to get to the end of one journey, only to start another. You are a great gal!
You are an inspiration to me. Congratulations. After four years of suffering from harassment and retaliation I awakened to a person I do not recognize. My emotional and physical health has really suffered. I am taking charge of my life now and am frightened for my future if I do not make changes to be healthy.
I am learning to be patient with myself and look for small improvements.
Love your blog! It's sooo great! It looks like you haven't been on in a really really long time but hope you come back soon! Would love to see how you are doing!
