Before After

I need a progam!

I have been M.I.A for a little bit, but im back! Had alot of things going on with school and what not and im finally back on earth, lol. This week has been an up and down road. I feel like im getting pulled into this black hole. My exercise is great My eating is not so great . Im not giving up, nope no matter if I eat more than I should and not eat on plan, im going to still push through all this. However, I think I need a plan. I have a plan but its usually in my head, i need something that I can read and look at and hold myself accountable for.

Starting tommorow, I start my new routine. Im super excited, im going to keep on running and try and get better. However, im going to incorporate weights!!! Yes im going to start training more often, i did some last week but i need to get my butt in gear!

Yesturday while shopping for new clothes I came to the fact that I wont ever get back down to 135 or 140. Why? Well it was way to hard for me to even maintain my weight at the number. I was on a strict eating plan and exercise was a huge must. Im happy where im at right now im eating healthier than before and im exercising alot more, most of all I like my exercise routine. So with that said im going to not push myself to lose weight weekly or have a deadline to be a certain weight by a certain time. Im going to take it slow and im going to get to a weight that is healthy for me to maintain without it being super hard at the same time.

Okay im off to eat! Eat something healthy!!

Have a wonderful weekend!

congratulations!

Dear Alexia,

Your pix are fabulous.  I just started my blog today.  (I found out about extrapounds through an article in a magazine at the Y.)  Thanks for the inspiration.

Hey Girl,

Well it sounds like you already have a plan!  Eating is so hard somtimes.  I mean, we can all learn to love some kind of physical activity but I don't think that part of us that wants to eat "whatever" goes away.  I think it can be "controlled" but it doesn't go away.  Why does it have to be so hard???  lol.  Have a good week girl!

Hey there

Hmmm...need a program huh?

Ever hear of the Body-for-Life challenge?  It's a 12 week challenge.  Designed to get you on the right track of a healthy lifestyle for life.

Healthy eating, cardio 3 days a week, weight training 3 days a week, and 1 day off a week called free day.  Everything is layed out for you.

Tools are free, entering is free,  and you can somethimes get the book at the library for free. For for those who do it best there is a $25,000.00 cash prize!  (alnong with a home gym)  Not to mention a healthy STRONG body!

Here is my BFL hero.  Her name is Jen Weatherman.  Average lady, followed the program and got great results.  She was actually the winner last year.  I like reading these success stories too.

Of course, whatever you decide is sure up to you.  I would feel just selfish if I didn't share tough.  You have serious discipline to lose the weight you have. You have done so great thus far, and a challenge is always nice.  Great motivation to take it up a notch.

Hope you are having a great weekend!

oh yea

I noticed at the top of the poem you shared the other day there was a link.  I went to that link and read the other poems.  They were great.

Thanks for sharing that.

Hey

I just wanted to let you know that you're huge motivator for me. So I hope everything is working for you still, and I'll be stopping by to read up on your progress.

You Go Girl!!!

You are doing exactly what I am!   I am not worried anymore about getting to what I was in high school anymore.  After having my bad nosebleeds and losing out on several years I have learned life is to short and food is a big part of our enjoyment.  So I believe we should cut back on the not as healthy stuff but never cut it out.  And exercise is a must but we don't have to kill ourselves to be healthy.. :-)

150 lbs

i think that's a great plan.  150 might just be your happy weight and at your height that sounds just right.  as long as you maintain a healthy lifestyle and keep up the exercise and awareness of your eating you'll be fine.  Reaching a certain number shouldn't be the total focus of each day.  Just be happy and healthy!
