Im happy to say that is been a week since I had a diet coke! Yeah a week is a huge thing for me. I went cold turkey and said no more! I started drinking the darn think back in december and it was getting out of control. I had them all the time! First thing in the morning and so on throughout the whole day. Im was starting to get bad headaches from not drinking so many and then I decided to quit all for all and take the headaches that come along with it. So when I was looking around I found this video on abc.com and I think its a really good video! Made my eyes open!!! Diet coke addiction video
Im finally back home in Tucson! Glad to be home again. Its amazing how much you miss your bed and place after being away from it for a couple weeks!
Eating has been good! Went to a wedding this weekend and im glad to say that I was able to stop myself when I saw myself going into a binge of food. Thankfully I got away with eating five mini cookies my grandma baked! So far this week has been awesome and im super excited to get my butt moving in action. Im hoping to lose some of this funky weight before my "Two year weight loss".
Goal for this week: Exercise everyday, no excuses!
Remember don't give up!!!
Happy Monday!!!!

Diet Coke!
I'm addicted too. I'll have to check that video out. I try to drink two a day and mostly drink water. But sometimes I go more than that. I'm proud of you for sticking to it for a week.
As far as getting the weight off....what are you talking about? Your graph shows that you are still at your goal. Have you changed your goal, or just not updated your current weight? Either way you are an inspiration! You have done so amazing!
Yeah, its always nice to be back in your own bed! great job on avoiding the wedding binge. I love going to weddings! and great job on avoiding the diet coke for a full week, now make it two weeks! Have you joined Golds yet?

WELL HELLO THERE!!!
How wonderful to see your name highlighted on my Google Reader. Welcome back! Happy New Year! Merry Christmas! Happy Thanksgiving!
Everyone has an addiction no matter what! that is so funny how true that is. Goodluck on fighting your cravings ! You can do it! Good to see your back and still sticking to your eating healthy and loosing weight goals!!!
Wow...I can't remember the last time I had one. It's been months - and I used to drink them all the time. I still have a cup of coffee in the morning, but decided I couldn't give up everything.
Thanks for your kind comments on my blog. You gave me so much inspiration when I first started blogging - I never thought I'd get there - slowly but surely though, it's a whole new life for me and I know I will get to my goal eventually, but only because I had the support of friends like you from the beginning!!
I was happy to see a couple of posts from you recently and glad to hear you are back sans computer/connectivity problems. Diet coke is something I have to try to moderate too -- and I've been doing well lately. =) I think it messes with my system in terms of making me feel full even if I'm not which leads to intense hunger later if I don't eat.
Ok, I am also a self professed diet coke addict, as I've mentioned before. So, I was really worried when I watched that video! However, I'm feeling a LOT better now, because I am nowhere near even half of what that lady drinks!!! Ok, I think its totally great that you are giving it up and taking the headaches instead (as is OneDitto with the Pepsi). I hope you don't mind if I might "steal" your video and put it on my blog because its kind of something that I've been really thinking about alot lately!! Thanks Alexia for posting that! I stand by Diet Cokes message! Just kidding, because I know that with all those chemicals that it can't be good! But remember, I'm addicted! And for a helluva lot longer than just since December!
I have been there too with diet coke. I was so addicted I was having to buy 2 cases per week! Then I switched to those new 100 calorie mini regular cokes and am happy with one per week!! It was unreal!!
